Sure there might be one, maybe two or perhaps no true statesmen left. What we need is to make Occupy a movement that Occupies everything and has the strong message, VOTE NO TO INCUMBENT! If everyone simply votes for someone other than the incumbent we are sure to get something atleast somewhat better than the already deeply corrupt congress. ANY national election should not vote for the incumbent, simple no? I'd be excited to see what change it brings...

END THE FED!(CENTRAL BANK)

"A government that governs least governs best"-Thomas Jefferson

"The refusal of King George to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution."- Benjamin Franklin (referring to the Central Bank of England, which like our Federal Reserve is a private corporation owned by banks that prints money OUT OF THIN AIR. The Federal Reserve is the USA's third central bank, abolished twice, yet back, does that not make you wonder why we have one and understand the persistence of bankers?)

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency(They control it through the Federal Reserve/Central Banks and control all of europe through this mechanism), first by inflation, then by deflation,(The Federal Reserve increased the money supply 5 fold since our current financial crisis, so inflation is going to hit hard and will hit virtually overnight) the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs".-Thomas Jefferson

'Give me control of a nations money supply, and I care not who makes it’s laws" -Amschell Rothschild Central Bank Chairman, England Chapter

indeed, we should all run

I've been calling for this simple solution for years. Though I realize it will NEVER happen. nomorerepublicansnomoredemocrats.blogspot.com I could stand in front of the American people until I was blue in the face... explaining to them why we need to "gut" the Washington D.C. bureaucracy... and start over from scratch... and most of them would blank-stare at me like I was from another planet. Even though it is the EASIEST and the SIMPLEST solution ever conceived!! Oh, well...

It is the simplest solution, it combined with ending the Fed(central bank) would provide an amazing restoration of liberty and economic prosperity, not to mention the morality would would suddenly have from no longer murdering millions of global citizens in the name of terror. I know End The Fed is a big issue with Occupy and if it isn't, you just don't know enough yet! Say NO to incumbents SUPER PAC could get enough financial clout to put up a campaign over a period of several years if it is done with enough attention.

BINGO. End of story. You just nailed it. Erase the current Republican vs Democrat mindset and tell them all to GO HOME. And once the Federal Reserve is replaced with a fiscally responsible, morally conscious Banking/Monetary system... 99% of our problems are SOLVED. Then, don't ever let another Corporation set foot in Washington D.C. ever again!

But what is to prevent a central bank from coming back a fourth time? I mean, come on! how many times is it going to have to rear its fugly ass head no mom would love before people can stop being cattle? O wait, the propaganda war for the last 100 years took care of that...www.RonPaul2012.com

Hey, I've been following Ron Paul and Rand Paul for YEARS. My dad actually knows the guy. Ron Paul has the most amazing platform of ANY candidate. I hate to say it... but unfortunately he has a MAJOR image problem and the Majority just doesn't trust him. He's like the brilliant geek in high-school... but they always vote the Quarterback for Homecoming King. That's the mindset of this Country. Yep. Let's vote for the guy with the best hair and the most expensive suit... and don't forget that smile... those pearly white teeth are a MUST !!!

Ron Paul won't win because he's trying to do just a little too much. The country isn't ready to accept a lot of his views. His stance on drugs alone will defeat him. He's right about everything, but the masses won't suddenly become enlightened enough to accept his radically enlightened ideas based merely on hearing them from a campaign platform. He'd have a better chance if he were willing to take it slow and frankly keep quiet about some of his harder-to-stomach ideas, for the sake of making it in.

And because he calls the Elite 1% exactly what they are... corrupt war-mongering crooks.

Vote NO ONE for elected offices. Write in NO ONE and demand that if NO ONE has the majority of votes NO ONE is elected.

[-] 1 points by Slave303 (44) 12 years ago

That would work if we weren't in a plurality vote system. All it takes is someone to get 1 vote and they legally win based on the rule of law. At the vfery least you would need a majority of voters voting that way to make any impact which will undoubtedly be ignored by the Mainstream bought and paid for by GE media. Vote RonPaul2012!!! and watch out for the Tea Party Express, which is just a corporatists view on the tea party. If you look at the demographics of who claims they are tea partiers in gop polls, you will see the Tea Party is not what it was in 2007-08, but instead the media controlled it and made it corporatist JUST LIKE THEY ARE vehemently attempting to do with Occupy Everywhere. We have to be very careful and get the word out!

[-] 1 points by johndblair (32) from Spokane, WA 12 years ago

Look at where I say we demand that if a write in vote for NO ONE has the majority of votes NO ONE will be elected. If more people would take the time to vote for NO ONE instead of not voting or voting for the lesser of two evils things just might change.

[-] 1 points by Slave303 (44) 12 years ago

Then they would conclude " NO ONE" is not eligible for the position and the next highest would be elected in a plurality vote system. Plurality vote systems SUCK! Only Louisiana has a runoff system in the Plurality vote system, we need runoff elections if someone gets under 51%!

Obamas' 2012 Finance Director is the son of BANK OF AMERICAS former CEO.... the guy who got us in this mess!!! Keeping it all in the Family

[-] 1 points by patriot4change (818) 12 years ago

Did you know that Bank of America was once Bank of Italy? Just a little trivia there...

I'd say let's all just vote for Ron Paul. I'm sure he'll be assassinated by the CIA two weeks into his term, but man, what a two weeks THAT'll be.

[-] 1 points by Slave303 (44) 12 years ago

Lol, I don't think they would give him 2 weeks. There's over a month between being elected and sworn in office. That would be the prime timing for that, but hey that's why hes going to have Jesse Ventura as VP! They'd have to knock em both off to do anything and that would cause too much of an uproar from We The People. THE MOVEMENT IS NOW IN 137 CITIES!!! W00t! www.ronpaul2012.com
