Powerful Video & ''Do you find yourself thrashing against the tide of human indifference and selfishness? Are you oppressed by the sense that while you try to care - others don’t? That because of humankind’s callousness, civilisation and the rest of life on earth are basically stuffed? If so - You Are Not alone. But Neither Are You Right.''

and ... ''Misanthropy grants a free pass to the grasping, power-mad minority who tend to dominate our political systems. If only we knew how unusual they are, we might be more inclined to shun them and seek better leaders. It also contributes to the real danger we confront - not a general selfishness but a general passivity. Billions of decent people tut and shake their heads as the world burns, immobilised by the conviction that no one else cares. -- You are not alone. The world is with you, even if it has not found its voice.'' - from:

I really liked Bernie's exposition of some basic stats in your video tho' wasn't so sure about Zbigniew Brzezinski or Joe Biden(his time before declaring?lol!), but I did like Julian Assange's bit in particular.

Thank you for comment & interesting link. World would be so nice, if we got rid of the "the grasping, power-mad minority.

Further to George Monbiot's thought provoking piece, perhaps a meditative tune would be in order:

Good tune. That helps.

Yes and ''there can be a better world'' ... despite how very confusing, convoluted and counter-intuitive The World we all try to love and live in - already is! For example:

Israeli general commanding ISIS.

I wonder if Nutjobyahoo losing the plot and trying to make Palestinians .. by some weird association, responsible for Germany's crimes (''Hidler didn't want to kill the J*ws - he wanted to expel them...'' !!!) recently had anything to do with the scenario alluded to above because 'Bendyermind' always needs diversions from the truth of Israel's Apartheid Crimes. Truth will eventually out I believe. I also append:

Abby Martin believes that .. ''there can be a better world'' too but The U$A and its MIC must change ...

EDIT: http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/33273-the-united-states-unofficial-religion-the-war-on-an-idea also by Abby Martin & an excellent 29m Video, about a very important matter that deserves attention.

Bush, Cheney & the Neocons are the War Criminals who need to be taken to court in order for the US and many others around The World to move forward and up from The Neocon Darkness. + fyi, pls see:

The homicidal Bohemian Grove pedophiles, must pay for their crimes.

[-] 5 points by ImNotMe (1488) 9 years ago

Like Bilderberg, Bohemian Grove was once considered ''Conspiracy Theory'' fare until the evidence for both just piled up and up so as to be undeniable. Now TPTB's Corporate MSM whores - who pass for journalists these days .. just seem to think that IF they, the hacks - don't mention ''Private 'Elite' (aka Parasite Class) Gatherings, then the rest of us will ignore and forget all about them. No, we will NOT!

Democracy, Accountability, Transparency and Solidarity - are all we have between now and Fascism.

Tho' your video is somewhat out of my league and comfort zone, I will append the following news & link now:''Sen.Marco Rubio is the new favorite of the Republican establishment, a shift away from Jeb Bush signaled by hedge-fund billionaire Paul Singer’s embrace. But Rubio earned that affection by advancing Singer’s high-stakes financial fight with Argentina ...'' from:

and - ''Rubio is a protégé of Florida billionaire Norman Braman, who has contributed at least six figures to support the expansion of Jewish settlements in the Occupied Territories. Rubio reportedly leads the all-important, “Adelson primary” - the race to tap the virtually unlimited cash box of gambling billionaire Sheldon Adelson, the single most prominent U.S. supporter of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

''All that is music to Singer’s ears, but Rubio’s “work on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee” -- is about something else altogether: his political support for Singer’s efforts to drain more than $1.5 billion dollars from Argentina in payments on old bonds that lost most of their value after the country defaulted in 2001.

''Singer’s ''Elliott Management'' bought that debt several years ago for less than $50 million, and then successfully sued in U.S. court to demand full recovery of the face amount - in the face of opposition from the Obama administration, most other bondholders, and, above all .. Argentina’s government ..''

''Consumer monoculture centralizes the power to act. We can consume the news — read about war, read about climate change — but where then in our distress, if indeed this is what is aroused, do we turn? What do we do?'' - from:

Ultra-Violence abroad & uber-violence at home are NOT unconnected! We are still cave men it seems!

suffering -> anger -> fear -> hate ?

[-] 4 points by ImNotMe (1488) 9 years ago

Nope. He conjugates his sentences ''in reverse'' and mixes his grammar and tenses ... BUT the meanings remain unchanged. .. Take you to him, I would - IF know where he lived, I did ;-) + fyi:

oh, suffering will happen just as violence

we should seek to prevent that and not let hate follow when it happens

14 years of futile war

all war is futile

[-] 2 points by ImNotMe (1488) 9 years ago

Re.''14 years of futile war'' and with reference to Afghanistan - a "Graveyard of Empires" but alas also an early grave for so many of its long suffering people, please see:

In the 12 year Illegal War on Iraq, 'USUK' & their allies utilised ''W.M.D.'' - Words of Mass Distraction as Weapons of Mass Deception; oblivious to the truism that War Means Death! The same applies to Libya and to Syria - where there could be NO ISIS/ISIL/Da'esh ultra-violent insurgency.. without the direct help of EVERY US ally in the area & now, Europe gets all mystified as to how they have got a mass refugee crisis! US ''boots on the ground'' in Afghanistan & Iraq were and still are, also about having US forces on both of Iran's Eastern And Western borders too. With this in mind, also further consider:

''Unfortunately, the U.S. bears the most responsibility for the current crises as the "greatest purveyor of violence in the world" – as true today as when Martin Luther King said it in 1967. At the same time, U.S. peace organizations are all struggling to raise needed funds to continue our efforts – marginalized though we are. This is a substantial problem that needs to be resolved. To solve these crises we need to bring the wars to a close.

''If we are so inured to the suffering endured by our fellow human beings that we do not address the current refugee crisis, we are in great danger. Human empathy is a road to transformative change – that which we would not want to happen to ourselves is something we must work to prevent happening to our fellow brothers and sisters. This goes for wars as well as addressing climate change to our greatest collective ability.

''When we fail in our responsibilities to this fundamental aspect of our being human is when hatred ascends and wars spiral out of control. Is this the current moment and if so what are we going to do about it?''
