The People "CAN" do what the government has so far failed to do. Shrink the Too Big To Fail.

Real honest grassroots action.

[-] 3 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

If the 99% voted and fully understood the issues then we would consistently vote for people like Denis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders. We need other political parties and other choices because the D/R option is barely any choice at all and we need to educate ourselves and switch off the television and MSM.

'Voting' is the last residue of power that we, the people have and I agree with your post and the need for 'Real honest grassroots action'. I live in hope that OWS can be seed for this in future as it has raised issues that have not been touched for many years.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Absolutely love Bernie Denis Jill and the issues they voice and the direction that they push - FOR THE PEOPLE.

The conversation "IS" changing even with MSM information roadblock.

I was so relieved to see the birth of OWS and all of the world wide protests.

We absolutely need to - Keep-on Keeping-ON.

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

'We absolutely need to - Keep-on Keeping-ON' - Definitely and this video was copied to me on another thread and I really think that OWS supporters and sympathisers will gain from watching it - "American Autumn - An Occudoc" ; http://vimeo.com/47690515 .

I watched it last night with my kids and a bunch of their friends and seeing their faces light up at the obvious truths spoken was a very special feeling. The OWS MSM blackout can be nullified if we all work on it.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yes - a GR8 video - it needs to stay in circulation - get shared out on the internet - I have tweeted it a few times now - the more people who do the same - the larger the audience that is reached.

[-] 1 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

I am cooking and feeding nearly 20 people tonight as we watch the results and I will have this video on as we eat. It is very good - just like my pork chops in cider sauce! In fact I am going to go now and get some more preparation done so thank you for your comments and fingers firmly crossed that tomorrow morning I don't have to start worrying about emigrating with my family over the border to Canada!

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

If you have not seen it yet or even if you have - you may want to follow the occupy vid with the Inside Job Documentary.

I had some great country style boneless pork ribs the night before last - with some German style dumplings ( not the fluffy kind ) - and followed with a German style cottage cheese coffee cake.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

LOL - I am hoping for a real night of good things - like 1 the legalization of hemp/marijuana in Colorado Washington and Oregon.

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

Hemp is one one THE most versatile plants known to mankind! Fast growing and good for food, fibre and fuel. I was going to go but got sidetracked by a right-wing shill and now very glad that I stayed to see your comment. Got to hit the kitchen again now before I take the dogs for a walk. Good Luck in MN!

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

In case you have not seen it here is a link to the documentary Inside Job.

http://documentarystorm.com/inside-job/

Hemp also great for plastics - paper - fabrics - building material also.

Good luck in your area as well.

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

Thanx but I did my only post about 'Inside Job'! It is compulsory viewing for every OWS sympathiser and indeed every US citizen as far as I'm concerned. I REALLY LIKE the sound of 'cottage cheese coffee cake' and I shall be looking into it further but I really have to get going now! Good luck and good wishes until the next time.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Have a GR8 get together.

[-] 2 points by LeoYo (5909) 11 years ago

OWS in different cities should compete with each other to see who can encourage the most people to open credit union accounts.

And if possible, switch your health insurance to a mutual health insurance company. If people are going to have to buy health insurance, better to purchas with a stake in it rather than continuing to support the 1%.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Good idea - friendly competition - could be a world wide competition.

The people of the world unite in competition to strengthen society from the ground on up.

Something that the governments have failed at miserably lately.

[-] 2 points by beautifulworld (23767) 11 years ago

Good post, DKA. I have already done this.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Hey Beautiful - I expected that you would be ahead of the crowd. {:-])

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Graves just pulled even with Bachman in the reporting. It had been 47 graves to 52 Bachman till now.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Shit Bachman now 51 over Graves 49 - this is a nail biter.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yes back to 50 50

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

A record number of women voted into the senate. EDIT: F U RINO/CorpoRAT war on women.

O now 290 R still 203 and delaying concession phone call.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Hah Massachusetts went Obama - eat that mittens.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Damn marriage amendment vote now 48 48 come on people vote no.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Damn Bachman and Graves still tied.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Obama 303 to Mittens 203 - still no phone call to concede.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

It's about to happen, apparently.

Being a predatory capitalist, willard will milk that cow to death.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

He just conceded - he was surprisingly generous to Obama.

Marriage amendment back on track but still to close 49% no 48% yes.

And damn it all Bachman and Graves are still at 50 50

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Maryland are claiming a victory in marriage equality.

On the willard generosity, I'm thinking he was always a fallguy, a pawn.

A predatory capitalist in charge of the kick-arse biggest military force on the globe would be asking for trouble.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

What a loss for big money - Hey? They stated earlier tonight that the dem campaign was out spent 2 to 1.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Not having seen the ad campaign, I'm a bit in the dark.

When you think about who owns what, these corpoRATs are throwing money at their own subsidiaries, and claiming expenses all the way.

Not to be sounding negative on such a positive day, the millions spent on electioneering are going in circles, and there's really no winners.

If a tenth of that money was spent on homeless people, and sending medicine to poor nations, it would make a huge difference.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

True - the money has not lost until the People say otherwise.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

GoodNight GoodMorning GoodDay GoodAfternoon GoodEvening EVERBODY. We made it through another election - thank God no more political ads.

But now we really have a lot to accomplish. We have got to get the people involved. That will be the decisive difference.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

270 to win - It is reported at this time Obama 275 Mittens 203. Well now I guess it will come down to possible court battles challenges by the RINO/Kochs if they pursue it. Florida is still a reported 50 50 split.

Update now 281 to 203

[-] 1 points by Coyote88 (-24) 11 years ago

I did that after the crash. Always a good idea.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

The public strengthening their communities from the ground up in our own version of economic aid/reform.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Two hours to go till the polls close here in Mn - and it is predicted that we will have about 80% turnout.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Is 80% turnout usual for Mn?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

EDIT: MY Bad ( crossed eye's or something ) I thought I read - is this unusual - in which case this statement is correct - No not at all ( it is very normal for a large turnout in Mn ) - I am expecting to see a larger turnout myself - after all is said and done - people have been standing in line for an average wait of over an hour.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

The message is getting through, I feel.

Even diehard Aussie RWers are commenting on the worsening corruption of politicians.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

This is why I can NOT believe what is being reported by the MSM. Saying that the race is neck & neck. No one - absolutely no one - that I have talked to has had anything good to say about mittens - and everyone I have talked to has been disgusted by the RINO's in office.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

His son has financial interests in these electronic voting machines. Just got "patched" or something, I heard.

I recall suggesting that with a "first past the post" election, each voter gets given one marble, and they roll it down a slot of their choice for their candidate. The barrel for each candidate gets weighed before and after the polls closed, and there can be no doubt who won.

Simplify the vote. If people know that the system is not rigged, more people will be willing to make an effort to vote.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

From what has been reported so far today - it is gonna be a very contentious and debated result. Obama's term may already end before a winner is declared by the courts.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

More obfuscation, in other words.

They like playing around with the people's money, don't they?

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Sure - it's free - right? ahem...cough...choke...hack...ack.... um pending on perspective - I mean it's not their money that they like to play with.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

It's a bit tricky getting their hands on it when it's in the Caymans or Switzerland. Cough, splutter, etc. ;-)

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

I want to see fresh updates on the 43 trillion dollar lawsuit. That money has been hoarded offshore to the detriment of the USA. Pulled straight out of the economy and hidden away.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Yes, I wasn't aware the case was brought so long ago.

If you get busted with some dope, you'll be in court the next day, but white-collar criminals need a couple of years to get their "house" in order before fronting a judge they've probably had installed by their congressman.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yep - got money? You get to play your game. That is another reason for the common individual to unite. Economic recovery measure put in place by the public.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

It was done last year and was noticed by the big banks. More people have to do it.

They must be reminded that the people have the power. Now we gotta use it.

Peace.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yes - these types of actions and the possibility for change that they bring must stay in circulation - so that more and more people are exposed to an idea that they may not have heard of yet or stopped to consider yet.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Especially since the election is finally over. We can focus on real issues/actions without all the campaigning.

guilty as charged!

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Are you against OWS?

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

Yes he is. He sent me a private message with this - http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/09/17/occupy-wall-street-a-frenzy-that-fizzled/ to which I answered -

Well that was a surprise. I never had a 'Personal Message' before. Not sure why you sent me that though. It is a negative article and perhaps you agree with its take.

OWS is not a 'fad' and although I like Elliot Spritzer - it is far too early to talk about OWS' 'legacy'. If you think OWS has fizzled then your being here and sending me this link paints you as a right-wing, anti-OWS person or agent.

Please do not send me anything else or I'll have to confront you on the forum. Thanks but no thanks and The NYTimes stopped reporting 'the news' a long time ago!

Now I don't like being a tell-tale but I like right wing shills even less - much less - like not at all!

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Nice response. I ignored it and the repeated other ones he sent. I'd rather deal with him out in the open.

My question was facetious anyway.

Thx

[-] 1 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

The thing about whispering right wing shills is that they can't stand scrutiny, so I agree that 'out in the open' is probably the best way to deal with them. Good job that you asked your question because we got to 'out' him! Thank you.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Now hes pushing porter stansberry (who was fined for security fraud) anti Obama conspiracy theory crap.

This guy is a joke.

[-] 0 points by Nowsmichigan (-310) 11 years ago

no i am not

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

Yes you are and never send me b.s. like that link below again! I know Michigan well enough and would wager that you are a sympathiser with the 'Militia'. Get a life bozo and put the guns down!

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

You are correct = definite shill - RW? corpoRAT ? - Shill = certain.

[-] -1 points by Nowsmichigan (-310) 11 years ago

Obama's "Hope & Change" has been changed to "Poverty & Despair"

[-] 2 points by Ache4Change (3340) 11 years ago

But you don't give two shits about that really, do you? Does the state that we are in have anything to do with 8 years of G.W.Bush or Republican wars and tax cuts for the wealthiest? If you think that Romney is going to change anything for the better for the 99% in our country then you are confirmed as an idiot!

[-] -2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

are you anti Obama?

[-] 3 points by richardkentgates (3269) 11 years ago

...asks the woman who hates drone attacks but loves the politician at the trigger.

[-] -1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I do not "love" Pres Obama. Stop twisting my beliefs.

And are you calling me a 'woman' as an insult? I mean you KNOW I'm a man.

Why the obvious sexist attack.

[-] -1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 11 years ago

I do not think you're a male. I have seen several comments from you that are typical female to male insults. I won't be naming them because I'm not here to train you on how to be a better liar.

[-] -1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

I haven't lied. You know I'm a man. You won't produce evidence because you have none. You have none because none exists. I guess you are calling me feminine because you think women are inferior.

Sounds like you are a sexist piece of shit. deserving of much disrespect and derision.

Why are you a sexist Dick? That IS your name right? Dick?

[-] 0 points by richardkentgates (3269) 11 years ago

Why are you taking that as an insult? Are you saying women are less worthy of dignity? I don't care if you are or not, I was just addressing you by gender. Same thing as, 'hey man'. Again, you show how little you have in common with the left by taking such offense to being called a female when there is no picture or name to go by. And yes, the nick name for Richard is Dick. You got that right sucker.

[-] -1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

You KNOW I am a man, YOU used 'women" as an insult like so many sexists do.

That is why I identify you as a sexist piece of shit Dick.

[-] 0 points by richardkentgates (3269) 11 years ago

You feel it's sexist to be called a female. Noted. Maybe anonymity isn't all it's thought to be.

[-] -1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

You are a sexist, Dick!

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

You sound like you're against OWS. Why do you send me all these anti OWS messages?

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

I no longer have an account anywhere. Fuck 'em.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Absolutely a GR8 way to be heard - an absolutely GR8 way to make a statement - an absolutely GR8 way to make concrete grassroots change.

Please share and circulate people.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

I've been demanding upfront cash for building materials for a while now.

Those who claim to only have a card get to ride with me to the lumber shop and hardware store, which is good, because they can then see how much time it takes to get all the materials happening.

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

Cash is King.

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

How long does that take?

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Depends on the job, but mostly it's four trips for a complete bathroom re-design.

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

I guess what I should have asked is, how long does it take for them to start paying in cash? lol.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Some people live on credit cards, GF.

Their whole wage gets paid into their mortgage account, and the card is linked to the same account.

I don't demand cash for final payment, but there's no way I'm going to buy all the materials to go into someone else's renovation project. Too much money involved. If they can't do cash, they get to come shopping with me.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Indeed it does, DKA.

Our fed minister for finance and education, Penny Wong is openly gay, and married, and recently showed us their new baby. Here she is talking about equality in marriage.

http://www.abc.net.au/lateline/content/2012/s3593116.htm

[-] 3 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

So far the marriage amendment to illegalize gay marriage in the Mn state constitution is losing. I hope to see that continue. The voter suppression ID amendment is also losing at this point.

[-] 3 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

People really are waking up. Good signs.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Yes - waking up and evolving towards maturity(?) - my hope anyway - lets us spread evolving maturity.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Aussies in general are a little mocking of authority figures, and most are simply looking for a bit of fun after-hours.

However, when real issues arise that will affect everybody, the level of cohesiveness can and does scare the crap out of our leaders.

But here's a little fun on your big election day. Chill for a few minutes.

http://youtu.be/BzI04jXR-y0

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

LOL - thanks for sharing that - good fun.

I believe a true cripple is someone without a good sense of humor.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Penny seems to be a level headed individual. Hope the public at large hears her.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Super-intelligent individual in my book.

Always well-researched, and informed on public opinion.

Not always right, but willing to compromise. I like her.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

No one is perfect - and if you can work with someone that is a very good thing - being frozen in position/unreasonable/closed minded is not a good trait (IMO).

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

Yes, exactly. Compromise is key.

Success in politics should never be counted in how many bribes are sent your way.

[-] 2 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

Absolutely - any job I have ever done I have done to the best of my ability - because that is what I signed on for - and in politics - that means serving the People to the best of your ability - any thing else just doesn't cut it.

[-] -2 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Wait! I heard from very reliable and wise sources that Jill Stein was indeed perfect. Possibly Rocky and Gary, too. So...

[-] 4 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

If you watched the extended debate with four candidates, it's clear now why Jill keeps getting locked up. It's not because she's perfect, it's because she has her finger on the people's pulse, rather than her lips on corporate cocks like the two puppets.

Oh no, did you hit your head, too?

Pot and marriage freedom are good things!!!

The information age being hijacked by disinformation is bad.

As are arrogant newbie innocents also bad.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

You'd need to be more specific Agent Smith.

But then, I often have no idea what mindwarp your heading is on.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

[No more reply tabs]

here's a new saying of mine: "The information age has been hijacked by disinformation."

"...people's congress that does not recognise the criminal elements and mafiosa alphabet soup..." The key words: "does not recognise" ~ they won't recognize, they don't recognize, they are undiscerning, un-nuanced, completely vulnerable innocents. And arrogant!

Unless we have some spontaneous combustion epiphany, some revelation critical mass, some leap of learning, or Darwinian second chance, we are fucked! !

Pot and marriage freedom won!!!

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

"Pot and marriage freedom won" is a bad thing to you Agent Smith?

Hempseed oil is the answer to peak oil, as well as global famine.

It would help if you got with the program.

Nowhere has anyone come up with a rational and peer-reviewed document proving that partnered cohabitation of any kind is harmful to the health of a society.

And remember that men wrote the bible, but the sun dictates our existence.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

You may very well be right. But those sweet promises are checks they will never ever have to cash, aren't they? Which makes them very easy to write.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

This saying seems to be a fave of yours, Agent Smith.

The real result of this sham election will be the startup of a completely people-owned senate and people's congress that does not recognise the criminal elements and mafiosa alphabet soup groups behind the facade.

Watch this space.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

So people can get carried away - but seriously - compared to some in office(?) - yeah they may just as well be called perfect - but then - they would not be alone in that either.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Perfect promises are cheap checks to write when you know they'll never be cashed!

Sanity barely held the POTUS and Senate, but Cons held the House and enough in Senate to fuck it up. Let's thank Darwin more didn't go 3rd.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 11 years ago

3rd party - Independent and such is not a bad thing - again it is the individuals stance - support people ? or not. To break the party cycle - people need to start supporting and opposing issues and look for representatives to office that are gonna support them - the issues of the people. Changes like that are best made locally for state and federal house representation - the presidential spot will open as progress is made from the bottom up elsewhere. IMO

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

You laugh but, I didn't realize how different the age gap was until the other day when I spoke with someone that is only about 5 years younger than me. That person asked, "Well, how do you pay bills?" and I had to explain the entire process of getting money orders and stamps and the post office. They didn't know how to go about paying bills without a debit card. Really. True story.

It's my little way of saying, "Take that-information warehouses."

But Cap'n - the engines were not designed to do that...........

Have a good night GF - BTW Obama was just projected the winner in Wiscony.

It should - who the hell wants a rep on crack as governor.

From what I am reading, Tammy Baldwin beat Tommy Thomson in Wisconsin. Jesse Jackson, Jr. was reelected (for real). And it looks like we have our worst case scenario for governor.

It just might go to court. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

Congrats on your first lesbian senator.

Now we need some confirmed athiests. ;-)

I have seen reports of a couple dem wins in state elections - nothing so far on the rep.

I think we will see a major initiative by the corpoRATs to win things in court in stressed areas.

Ya, they are my secret cute thing.

It could be in court. They pull out all the stops when it comes to this. I'm sure there are lawyers waiting.

I'm over the projections from msm. It's almost nine and we have 235 out of 527 precincts reporting in my county. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

Just saw Warren is a projected winner at this time as is Donneley.

Marriage amendment at 59% so far projected a fail for those who would refuse marriage to all.

Ya, I am watching the Warren race and I'm also hoping Joe Walsh gets kicked to the curb.

Ya know, I wonder how many TP folks lost in this or better yet, how many TP folks cost the GOP? Mourdock lost a seat that the GOP held for 3 decades.

Ok, that's it. I'm out. Have a good night, DKA.

LOL - love the mental picture that conjures. pink sock monkey pajamas EDIT: I'LL just bet that you are as cute as a button in those jammys - all sleepy eyed and ready to sleep. {:-])

Yeah - I don't know how long I am gonna stay up either - especially considering the mess that a lot of East Coast voting is being done in.

I think it likely that this election will end up hotly contested in court - whichever way it is called.

I know, right? I've been trying to stay with it long enough to find out if I get a republican governor or a republican governor on crack. But, to be honest, it's cold and I'm tired. I dug out my pink sock monkey pajamas and I could very well pass out. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle permalink

Edited for: It looks like Mourdock is going to get beaten.

BOOM - roll comes to a screeching halt with a flat tire. It has been a long day and it sucks waiting for results to see whether sanity will rule or not.

Consider it to be a quantitative easing made by the public to strengthen the community/society from the ground on up.

BTW - this is an economic recovery measure that has not been applied yet.
