Forum Post: A Bridge to Nowhere for 99% of Americans

GOP budget will break the middle class

Good riddance to the 99% as the GOP caters to the 1%ers over the middle class. We will see the income inequality increase even further until the middle class will be unrecognizable as they become the new poor.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/23/opinion/perriello-gop-budget/index.html?hpt=hp_bn6

Still think the voting for the GOP is essentially the same choice as voting for Democrats? This has been espoused in many posts in this forum. Not only does this idea not make any logical sense, it's severely flawed.

This coming election is extremely crucial. We realize it's tough enough to turn around Washington and get them to support the 99%. If we don't re-elect Obama KISS the entire movement Good Bye!!!

I get pissed with democrats quite often, but overall I agree with you, and I'll be voting (and voting for democrats).

[-] 2 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

This is the best choice. Also, we put the wind of protest at their backs so they do the people's business. Put in the GOP and they WILL END this MOVEMENT. They don't listen to us and have called OWS irrelevant. The GOP have skewered Obama for recognizing and empathizing with OWS.

Of course the GOP does cater to the Tea Party, so if they get in the rich will be getting and the deficit will be balanced on the backs the middle class. The poor will be abandoned for the same reason. It is already in their plan.

You may be right. I think it's important to push from the inside AND the outside. Both are really important in my view. I'd be interested in your comments to this post of you have time to read it and are so inclined. It's an attempt to describe deep down what some in Occupy movement REALLY want: http://occupywallst.org/forum/what-does-those-involved-in-the-occupy-movement-wa/

I agree with pushing, I will push from every angle possible and I'm always looking for new creative ways to do it.

Thanks for chiming in. I think is a worthy subject of discussion.

Thanks. Check out http://occupywallst.org/forum/what-does-those-involved-in-the-occupy-movement-wa/ if you have a chance and let me know what you think.

I enjoyed it. I think it contained some real honest feelings from the contributors and real introspection on their motivations. There is a common cause we can come to consensus on and this empowers us. Ideas are powerful and it is here we can communicate them and discuss their merits. Good Ideas are forever, they never die.

A donkey is an ass, and your post is nothing more than a propaganda fart.

The proposed GOP budget is an abomination, but where is the Democratic alternative? 'Hot air, but it come from the donkey's rear.

What is your anal fixation about? (Seems weird)

[-] 0 points by DiablosBlanco (5) 12 years ago

It seems that we're being offered a choice between cyanide and arsenic here...

[-] 2 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

I guess you forgot about 2008 then.

DO you like Sarah Palin? (tell the truth)

[-] 0 points by DiablosBlanco (5) 12 years ago

I remember 2008 very well, I don't understand why you make that assumption, unless it wasn't an assumption but rather an attack on my statement.

With regards to your "Sarah Palin" question, I could respond with nasty questions about your own personal likes or dislikes, but I won't. I will say that I don't like the "choices" that are presently offered, selected and funded by the corporate butt-kissing duopoly and as such, they and their supporters can all kiss my butt (except for the ones with those nasty sores on their lips-- eewww!).

and of course the democrats didn't help pass one bit of the legislation that got us here? Clinton ultimately signed the removal of Glass Steagall. Clinton is a dem and was all to happy about repealing it. Patriot act, one democratic senator voted against it. The list goes on and on. Just because the democrats are the ones spitting what you like to hear does not make them your hero, just a better con.

Your one of those who runs around this forum acting as if there absolutely no difference between Mr. Etch-a-Sketch and Obama.

This is like saying night is day. How do you believe that your form vitriol is helping anyone. Your apathetic. That kills movements like this. Maybe that's your true goal. From your postings, I think I hit the nail on the head Richard. Your previous words speak loudly enough for your positioning.

Others here know you well. So, you think I'm a con-artist too? For you the whole wide world is one big con job so it wouldn't be surprising.

and everyone that doesn't agree with you is a troll. Don't use the others on this forum to empower your own personal attack for lack of maturity or ability to work with those that don't agree with you. You're a child, in age or mentality, or both. Trying to shut down my right to interact and my opinion by making a personal assault is pathetic and cowardly. You want to be of service to the movement, try growing up.

[-] 1 points by Puzzlin (2898) 12 years ago

Another tactic you seem to fond of is putting words in other people's mouths. I find you quite insulting and thank god that this movement doesn't need you. You proved my point that your apathetic since you have nothing positive to say. So, if I'm the child, who just happens to be able to write, then that makes you a grouchy old man!

Your the grouch who steals away good ideas by smoking up the place with your brand of habitually bad-tempered complaints!

But hey glad we keep pushing the post up. At least some good can from it even though it would never be your grouchy intention.

Again, another personal attack. 99% of your comments are about the user or includes an assessment of their value in it. Taking a position of artificial authority. Trolling for the blue team doesn't give you a free pass, you're still trolling. You're beginning to stink of institutional agenda.

Richard Grouch says to me: You're a child, in age or mentality, or both.

So, if I'm the child, who just happens to be able to write, then that makes you a grouchy old man!
