'Occupy Our Homes' in LED sign display

On Monday, October 15th 2012, Occupy Chicago and the Overpass Light Brigade Light Up the Streets in Solidarity with the Occupy Our Homes Movement.

Hot on the heels of Occupy Chicago's court victory over last year's illegal eviction from Grant Park (all charges for the 305 arrestees have been dropped) the group teamed up with the Wisconsin-based Overpass Light Brigade in a joint action Monday night. It served to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the eviction and raise awareness of the national foreclosure crisis.

With 14 million home foreclosures recorded in the last five years, we cannot lose track of the fact that those homes contained people – mothers, fathers, kids and grandparents – many of whom could have remained in their homes if the banks were willing to work with the families to come up with some kind of shared financial sacrifice. But no, the bailed-out institutions who streamlined their mass-robbery with predatory lending, robosigners, and mortgage-backed securities still have little interest in fixing the problems they created. That leaves it up to citizen activists in the growing home defense movement to find creative techniques to draw attention to this national disgrace.

Occupy Chicago and the OLB marched through downtown Chicago with their beautiful light message before gathering at "The Horse" statue in Grant Park for a speak-out against the banks. It was a fine example of the power of peaceful and playful protest.

No Conspiracy, Confirm Your Inalienable Rights. Now when the United States Government was bankrupted by the events of the 1929 crash, the Fed had the mechanism whereby the gold standard could be abolished and you the people thus became the collateral, the promissory note to pay at a future date your imputed debt, implied upon you at birth. Now having a corporate entity implied through the use of your Social Security Number and your capitilised Artificial Person, your bond has unlimited potential value, based upon your free agency, therefore you can invoke your bond to rearrange the terms of your debt, strike that debt completely, or else make an offer to buyout the bank. The artificial person of the true representation of the living human being can negotiate a remedy on the Corporate Terms as utilised by the District of Columbia. The 1% don’t pay tax because they choose to engage the DC under the Terms of Roman Law. You the People being the Sovereigns’ have the power you just have not been informed of your Natural Rights under Common Law.

I will never forget when banks approved me for a home loan (my first home) 10 years ago at 12%, but I walked away, I knew it was unfair for a first time home buyer in 3 generations. And now that I secured a home this month at 3.2%, and beginning the 30 year death pledge, I have been working 37 years now and finally bought an old home that should be priced only at 30k, for 150k. I can't forget.

there shoudn't be interest on homes, nor should a family ever be in jeopardy of losing it. There is something very wrong with the people in this country, especially those in power. They have no integrity but seek profit at the cost of human suffering. I watched government "leaders" state, they want to build a healthy economy so that the people can be taxed, and we can pay our deficit. I disagree, the people did nothing to go into debt, nor should they be put into more forced labor like I have suffered for 37 years. Government thinks they are at the head of a corporation whose job it is is to consume what the american people produce, when in fact, it belongs to the people. They don't do anything to hep the people, but they exist to persecute us.

Take the trillions we spent on the war on terror, or the trillions spent at the airports now when we travel. Couldn't we all just be carrying our sidearm and prevent terrorism for free? No need to be incovenienced, if we all just had our right to bear arms. Government thinks it is their job to protect us. I can prove to you that they are wrong... Take the massacre at the batman movie theatre. If everyone in the theatre had their sidearm, how many lives would have been saved, instead we have been duped into thinking its much safer to wait 10 minutes for a government officer to "protect us" after about 80 people have been shot. Those 4 saudi arabians who hijacked an airplane wouldnt have gotten very far with 100 citizens on board pointing a weapon at them. You may argue that they could have shot some important hydraulic hose on the plane, to that I respond, well it didnt fare very well for them in the alternative did it?

As for the man who owns a million acres. I doubt I will see him in heaven.

I now pull a bit of my experience of mass psychology but note that I am not a psychologist. It is my personal observation but I suppose it is accurate enough on practical grounds.

Type 1. He acts from his decisive thoughts and acts readily. The OWS activists are immediate examples.

Type 2. He stops, looks, listens to the Type 1 and becomes a follower activist sooner or later.

Type 3. He is tangled mind and confused. So, he has little option other than to follow his big brothers--Type 1 and Type 2 people. Seen that way, he is also an activist when he hits the ground.

Summary. The three people represent immediate, reactive and delayed response. But eventually all walk to the Rome.

The court ruling is a great impetus--it speaks against the 1%! I suggest you to open a signature bank as general enthusiasm for OWS support. I am sure the signature bank will reach 99% world support someday. It will be a great memento to people and in the history books. Imagine people looking over the memento 1,000 years from now!

We need a 33rd Amendment to the Constitution. Corporations and big money are drowning out the voices of average citizens.
