This Friday: Run on Bank of America

Posted 11 years ago on April 10, 2012, 2:21 p.m. EST by OccupyWallSt

Occupy Wall Street Weekly Marches on Wall Street presents Run on Bank of America:

Every Friday until May 1st, OWS is practicing various street mobilization tactics and formations in preparation for actions on May Day.

This week we are teaming up with the campaign to Break up Bank of America! Come out to the "Run on Bank of America" as we run, march, and call on everyone to move their money out of this monstrous bank. Bank of America is a giant, raging hurricane of theft and fraud, spinning through America and leaving a massive trail of destitute retirees and foreclosed-upon families in its wake. So we are moving our money out of this criminal institution.

These weekly marches are intended to be a low-risk activity carried out in a creative and assertive way to make it to the NYSE, where we counter the closing bell with the "People's Gong."

Join us this week as we practice race and relay tactics! A Singing Plus Brigade will perform after the People's Gong - everyone is welcome to join in!

See you there!

My health and other circumstances keep me on the sidelines but I want to encourage #OWS to stay strong and keep hitting the b@stards where they live.

Can't wait for May 1st. Bank of America has foreclosed record number of homes and they especially try to foreclose on people that have paid a great amount into their home. Bank of America wants their home forclosed in order to sell for profit. People of all ages are getting screwed by this bank over and over. They have the most outrageous fees for everything and they itch to give you penalties left and right. Occupy Bank of America everywhere as its actions have nothing to do with American values. It is rated the worst bank in North America. We do not need their business on American soil anymore. They took the big bail out and now they take everything away from you. Bank of America has more to do with wall street then any other bank. Destabilize Bank of America and you will really hurt wall street where it hurts. Take America back from Bank of America.

Some people at a protest were mentioning they are thinking about sitting at their drive through windows and cause serious traffic inside the bank causing actual bank of america consumers/members to quit and join another bank taking away profit from this bank and enabling this bank to go into bankruptcy. They said the only way to be successful is to block and occupy one corrupt bank at a time with full force In order to be effective. That's the only way to be effective and if so it could take away billions from them across America, state to state.

YES! Something everyone can do! Sadly I know the bulk of someone's future inheritance lay largely in Bank of America stock. Oh, well they'll just have to keep right on and on working for a living. He's gonna inherit some worthless paper. It was all money his grandfather made as banker, the bulk of which was from his granddad buying Bank of America stock. Easy come, easy go! When the shit hits the fan, its usually the little people that feel the pains. They should have gotten out while the getting was good. I'm sad for him but Bank of America need to die a quick and sudden death.
