BE WARNED - the NYPD will use tactics used to demoralize kidnappers and hostage holders. They will cut the basic services, difficult acess from more protestors, difficult or stop food and water from arriving. They will prolly try to keep you guys sleepless and on your toes. As we speak, most likely MOLES are in, that means people that would seem to sympathize to the cause and even become proeminent amongst you and incite violence or stage some sort of abuse of force by the police to get you all rioting and riled up. Do not listen to FEAR. Here goes the Litany Against Fear found in Frank Herbert's series DUNE.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

The world is watching, we all support you. 2 million strong.

People holding signs saying "A job is a right" and "Capitalism doesn't work" are such great examples of the arrogant entitlement attitudes that exist in the many spoiled citizens that make up the USA. Jobs are not given to people by corporations. Jobs are taken by the most capable and most qualified workers for any business. Get a clue and spend your efforts in a way that can actually help humanity: Try producing something for society rather than begging for others to do it for you.

just like everything in life there must be balance.

because they are confused just like you are, we are not a capitalist country we are a BANANA REPUBLIC, if we were a capitalist country we would not have mega banks, we would not have corporations with huge monopolies who use the resources of our country and then ship our jobs overseas. people dont want hand outs the want a fair chance, and they dont want our country controlled by the top 1%

Capitalism doesn't work, can't you see ? It has never worked, we keep "fixing" it, but it only gets worse. The finance system's fundamental is totally f'ed up, the lesser you have, the more you have to pay! How f'ed up is that?

Your gvt borrows money, thus create debt, to bail out banks, and the banks speculate on your gvt's debt so you lose your tripple A status and have to pay more, that is a form of gratitude I did not know!

But it gets worse, especially for you guyz in the US. Over the past thirty years, at least, tax money in incredible proportions is redirected to benefit corporations in what you call "wars for democracy or freedom". Well, name one country that the US has liberated after WWII and that became a democracy shortly after it was "liberated" - how funny, you can't ! In any country on this planet, you would have had a revolution if the government had acted like that! But in the US, you have patriotism, that crazy idea that as long as the others die, you don't care ... until some of yours die in your front garden, then you should have realized that that was what you did to the rest of the planet for the past 60 years ... but no! You engage in a war on an idea, not a country, an idea ... easy, you can never win against an idea - that means unlimited amounts of tax dollars are directed to those same companies ... enriching not only those corporations, but members of your gvt - yet, still, you say nothing! Hello, anybody home????

Even your "development aid" is killing development, on purpose, because you want to grab the riches out of Africa, easier to control a dictator than a democratic parliament, ain't it ? Giving food away to Africa only creates unsustainable competition with local businesses (farmers etc). You are a bunch of overweight greedy USians! You represent less than 5% of the world population, yet you consume 25% of the world oil consumption!

Your "secret services" torture people on no real grounds (some wore the wrong brand of a watch) throughout the world, organize coups here and there for no other reason than to enslave the countries. Well, some European countries do that, too, always on your side, though ... funny ain't it?

Why did you not intervene in former Yugoslavia? You knew of concentration camps, mass murders, ethnic cleansing ... maybe because they had no oil? Still, you let Serbia win, so ethnic cleansing, war crimes, crimes against humanity pay out great ... don't believe me, right ? Who am I? Ok, check maps before and after the war, check where Serbia performed "ethnic cleansing" - how weird, those are the parts that were "given" to Serbia - ain't it ironic?

Even Iraq, the place where modern agriculture (as in cultivating land) was "discovered" (or first witnessed), you force Iraqi farmers to buy your seeds at extortionate prices, because you allow patents on crops ???? WTF? They have prior art dating back thousands of years ago ...

The rich get powerful and influence politics, the US administration defends companies, lobbies, not citizens. Your administration does not even recognize the international tribunal in The Hague, because they have a long list of USian war criminals you don't wanna hand out, yet you chase down all the war criminals on the planet to bring them to trial there ... how .... ironic, don't you think ?

I will not start on the extermination of native Americans, because it is still ongoing....

Why did you help Libya and not Syria? Maybe because Syria has hardly any oil?

Why do you not want Palestine?

Get real, don't believe what you see on that rectangle 3d 70" super plasma or whatever and think, really, sit back, realx, and think, it may not be too late!

@thecarpy, thanks for the spanking, we need it, for we cannot fix what we do not know is wrong, we need your help to show us the errors of our ways. Please understand, for most of us, this is all we have ever known, but we are learning. We are slaves to corporatocray, we have been used and pitted against each other, please know that this is a far bigger worldwide scam perpetuated by the Vatican and the Bank of London we are all pawns in their scheme for control. Please do not give up on us!

Democracy Now also ran a segment and interviewed several people who were there... nice to see any media coverage, especially positive coverage from local orgs with national audiences. That segment is here: http://www.democracynow.org/2011/9/19/occupy_wall_street_thousands_march_in

Thats what happened in the hippie movement too, the inserted drugs and promoted promiscuity which had NOTHING to do with hippie. Hippies were to live OFF THE GRID!! But they made it into a synonym of crazy , promiscuous, drugged, stupid people >.<
