firearms are so much off the point of what can be or needs to be accomplished right now...i think what's most important is to take down some of the blockades against democratic agency which have been put up. we don't know how much exactly we can do with OWS. it's like, you meet a genie and get one wish: wish for more wishes. We need to stringently restrict corporate campaign spending and end corporate personhood more than almost anything else since these two problems are most blatantly fascistic. or we can demand that the rich literally pour out money before charging the middle class one more penny. the buffett tax is insidious, but on the DL about it, .

Hello!!!! You did know that this movement and the Democratic party are one in the same. This is a just an Obama reelection event. You did know that the protest has already endorsed Obama for President and has included his "jobs bill" in its demands.

You should really read up on Brookfield Asset managment who owns Ziocotti park, who just received a federal bailout, is represented by Biden's son and has Bloomberg's girlfriend on the board.

I think they are betting that when all is said and done, Obama will be able to blame the Republicans for your issues and the protestors will faithfully march down to the polls and pull the "D" lever.

OWS is all about Being The Change You Wish To See In The World.

As soon as you start to use old paradigm words and concepts such as "leader", spokesman", "left", "right" "demands" and so on and so on, you betray the very Ethos of OWS and the embryonic movement is lost. The "mainstream media will see to that..

The old paradigm has totally failed. It does not work, never has worked, and can only bring misery and inequality, and eventually enslavement.

Trying to incorporate all or part of the old paradigm will not bring the changes we wish for.

The people on the ground at OWS are Living That Change, and doing so beautifully and perfectly in the spirit of the movement on the ground.

Please stop being an airmchair actyivist and demanding that OWS should conform to your ideals in accordance with your own needs.

Please Can We Simply Be The Change We Wish To See In The World, which requires no thought or effort - It Is Our Natural State of Being.

ps. Alex Jones, although maybe meaning well, is propagating fear, anxiety and doubt, which is destructive and contrary everything OWS stands for.

This is a good start, but you need to go the head your screaming at the monsters feet. wall street starts at K street .

The Communist Corporatist System is ran by the family's that have worked in the bureaus that we can't elect. these are the same family's that have worked there from the beginning and if you think that they don't have family in the DOD your wrong.

I agree with this. The "Buffett tax" is not much of a progressive demand. The rich pay the same as the middle class? Uhh, that's not progressive taxation. That's a flat tax.

That is what they want. They want the middle tax to pay their created debt. I don't owe that money. A flat tax would destroy what remains of the middle class and we will really be a fascist communist state with the Elite on top and us as the slaves. Look around people and make sure the movement is not being manipulated by the International Bankers at the Fed's. Be careful.

Demand fourteen: Ban all firearms in America except for loyalty proven police and military. Create a 30 day turn in amnesty period, else face life in prison. Confiscate all gunsmithing, manufacturing, reloading, and shooting equipment. Jail firearms manufactures pending trial at the UN for genocide on minorities. Destroy all collections, clubs, social groups, and museum firearms, even if "de-milled". Put any owner of an assault weapon in re-education camps. We cannot get the capitalists and Christians to do our will until we disarm them. Our weapons are truth and the people, their weapons are guns and racism.

This has nothing to do with this movement, plus the 2nd Amendment protects all the other Amendments form a tyrannical government.

The U.S. government is not at this point in time a tyrannical government, but IF that time comes (and I say that with a BIG IF) you will be glad you have the freedom to own a firearm.
