Turn off your computer. Unplug your internet. Cancel your smartphone. Change the world. What a crazy idea.
I dare you to try. See what happens.
For all you people who don't even want to consider the point, I offer you exhibit A, on the internet of course.

Another perfect example - the high dollar centerfolds can't make a buck anymore due to you stealing free porn. Excellent point!
WE WOULD CRUMBLE... ONE PERSON AT A TIME. (WE'VE BECOME WAY TOO ACCUSTOMED TO USING THIS TECHNOLOGY ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS... WE CAN'T STOP... UNLESS IT'S TAKEN FROM US! ;)
Oh, I'm very serious. What's all this tech done for you? Let you steal movies, music, tv, free free press. You've gone and put all the whole entertainment and news print folks out of work. Digital image commercials, amd dreamworks, we don't even use real people to act anymore. All your union buddies you love so dear you've gone an put them all on the street by unplugging your landlines. Oh, yea, you've got a beef with the banks, so you don't care about all the tellers who don't greet you at the desk anymore, since you auto deposit your paycheck. Your environmental wonder world where nobody drives a gas car puts all your UAW buddies and all the autoparts folks out of work. Go to Target and you want self serve lines so you don't need the cashier anymore. What kind of job do you tihnk the govment is actually gonne give you? You don't want anyone to do anything.
I can't imagine you're being serious.
One of the reasons I am even paying attention to this movement is because it HAS gone beyond just starting a Facebook group/Twitter hashtag.
But that doesn't mean it has to be all unplugged. The communication tools available to us are powerful and these folks have been making good use of them.
The safety of democracy lies in free and open dissemination of information and free and open instantaneous communication. The revolution lies in being plugged in, not in tuning out.
Agree - information dissemination is one of our best weapons
