Transition Plan;

This is plan in detail for how to transition your current corporate oligarchic fascist death cult Civilization into a genuinely civilized and egalitarian Free Market Democracy.

Phase 1.Viral Internet Information Paradigm Shift

  1. Immediately network and create a wiki and forum installation per city and per senate and congressional office and for the office of the the predicency.
  2. Fill out that network with hard science information and in each case use open source science centered direct democracy think tanks to work and solve the problems; having each participant do actual live research in order to educate themselves and report back to the group.
  3. List out 50 main different political issues and address each one of them in detail, by slowly deliberating science facts as such facts apply to those problems.
  4. Position and Organize and network and market your product and then Take Every last major Political Office in the USA.

Phase 2. Immediately begin looking for and organizing groups to get off the grid, and go in on land and form community together.

  1. Network
  2. Explore your dream community ideas using open source design to find people who have similar ideal communities.
  3. Find 100 people who want to live in the same general area as you and then start looking for land.
  4. Buy the land. Permaculture, Aquaculture, and geothermal power station the land, and then...
  5. Become agriculturally and economically and industrially self sufficient in that community.

Phase 3. Write and Implement the new laws

  1. Future laws can be written immediately.
  2. Implmentation comes as soon as we get our people into office and they implement.
  3. This means that we form a new peoples political party and base it in formal logic, Non violent communication, Science Centered open source problem solving process, and direct Democracy.
  4. Eventually one of the new laws we make is an NI4D Style law which makes the American public a new third branch of congress; allowing them to write laws and directly interact with the other branches of government at every level and at each step in any process.

Phase 4. End Poverty

  1. Indentify the specific Needs and strong social tactics for meeting those needs which still invest that energy back into society.
  2. Build new Arcology sized Modern Cities
  3. Permaculture the Streets; Make edible plants the standard yard stock.
  4. Create systemic equality in the system and a genuine free market system so that it is a fair and just and even playing field; not a corporate oligarchy con scam and rigged casino with 10 different kinds of pwns playing ideology chess on the corporate oligarchy chess board.

Phase 5. Organize into exotic and brilliant genius open source think tanks and begin working all of the other problems, this should easily generate evolutionary answers to those problems and evolve civilization instead if holding it back. The corporate oligarchy has been holding back social and civil progress for thousands of years now... given modern information and science that elastic band can snap back the other way now if we all embrace knowledge.

  1. Read textbooks.
  2. Read more textbooks.
  3. Share what you know with everyone.
  4. Work to solve social and civil problems from knowledge instead of from ideology, and to cooperate instead of argue and bicker over ideology team sides.
  5. read more textbooks.
  6. Solve social and civil problems in open source think tanks.
  7. Wash, rinse, spin, repeat.

Phase 6. Claim the Stars.

  1. Use your open source think tanks to design space ships. At first recreationally and science fictionally but with a slowly creeping attention to detail and realism.
  2. Start in on space stations and especially captured asteroids.
  3. Once these things are designed and once we have solved our other problems on earth including ending poverty, build space ships and colonize our solar system.
  4. Build larger space ships and send them to the nearest 1000 stars.

  5. Nanotech.

cont'd: Professionals today say that they deserve to be paid more because they gave up income during 4-8 years of college. But in parecon, because we get rid of markets (the world wide system which makes the world into the horror that it is now) in the Fed.I.rise transition strategy, we also eventually get rid of labour markets, meaning that we now pay for people to educate themselves, because educating oneself is work, it’s enjoyable work, so learning doesn’t get paid that much but it does get paid. So people no longer have the excuse of getting paid way more in their professions because they forwent 4-8 years of income while in college.

Participatory Worker and Consumer Councils: Are just that, people who are affected by a decision in their industry or region get to participate in decision making. Due to the equity and efficiency from the mechanisms above, we all now have more time to participate, because in parecon we can work less to make ends meet. Also people would be cultured to think and apply the participatory skills they practice in their daily jobs, so they now have the ability to participate coherently in conversing on wider decisions for society. Not every council has to talk to every other council when making a decision that overlaps, because we have a computer network (Facilitation Board) which archives all decision and data from other councils. So a council can just refer to the inventories or expectations of available parts to come from another industry. Even if everyone doesn’t participate, we’d still have statistically significant participation from people experienced to each issue, which is better than one single class of people (lawyers, doctors and businessmen politicians) ‘representing’ or ruling over everyone else, sometimes with consultation of ‘experts’.
Consumers of a particular good have power on par with producers and can reach right into an industry and help in the design, production, distribution, even full cost accounting (the cost is the price in parecon). Society as a whole, through a participatory polity, would also have more say over big production decisions.

Noam Chomsky’s protege came up with parecon (PARticipatory ECONomics). It’s a revolutionary methodology which requires systematically cooperative, solidaritous, equitable and diverse outcomes. I suggest we build a participatory economy through the credit unions and a federation of our own participatory co-ops. The people need their own institutions, one’s which can’t be taken over by a “coordinator class” as Chomsky’ protege – Michael Albert – calls it. In parecon, no one person owns entire forests, factories or roads and bridges, but instead there is now social governance by participatory worker and consumer councils over the productive means. According to the principle of say proportionate to stake, people have nearly complete control over their personal things, like clothes, bikes, housing that doesn’t have a large foot print, etc.

Say proportionate to stake says that in so far as an issue will effect you, you get to affect it. So if the issue is day care in a neighbourhood, then a mom with 4 kids will get 8 votes compared to the 0.8 votes that goes to an 18 year old male who is thinking about being a child care worker.

Balanced Job Complexes (BJC): Within a person’ chosen focus of work, they can rotate through a balance of menial and conceptual work. This achieves efficiency in that now everyone will have to rotate through the shitty work, so no one class of people can isolate themselves from the crap by delegating and, essentially, forgetting about it. So now it’s in everyones interests to automate or prevent work from accumulating. Also, every member gets to see a respective operation through different aspects of the productive cycle, making the operation more intelligent. Even if you introduced ‘democracy’ into a corporation today and you had the 10 workers come to a meeting with 1 vote each, only maybe 3 workers - the owner, the accountant and the marketing guy - would have enough information to vote in an informed way. Those 3 want to protect their cushy jobs, so the marketing guy for example, isn’t going to give away all his sales leads and sense of various markets’ demand, cause then he’s no longer the only one who the company must rely on for his job. So we see quite quickly that if the 7 workers care about their jobs, they have to sit on their vote and go along with what the 3 coordinators say should happen, or otherwise they vote blind, potentially flying the operation and their jobs into a wall. Because with BJC there is more structural sharing of skills across task types, we get a highly skilled work force. Instead of people keeping their trade secrets, it’s in everyones interests to share skills; learn one, do one, teach one, gets instituted everyday, everywhere. No longer do specialist professionals get to say, ‘my skills are rare and in high demand so I don’t have time to teach and I should get paid more’ (while their professional association like the American Medical Association actually prevent more people from becoming doctors, for example).

Remuneration based on effort and sacrifice (RES): Those who do the hard, crappy work no one likes to do will get paid more, and work where you sit in a corner office, on the phone or over business lunches gets paid less. Because we now determine together what wealth is in worker and consumer councils, we find that each unit of remuneration is now a mere divisor of total wealth in circulation. This puts it in everyone’s interests to invest social wealth towards realizing the most efficient gains for the economy so that the value of our units of pay represent more actual goods and services without requiring more inputs (like work)to create those extra goods and services. Even if one person is in publishing and the question is whether to invest more in culture or energy, and there are much greater efficiencies to be had in investing in energy innovation, then the publishing worker will vote to invest in energy research and development. As new energy technology does away with all kinds of work, engineers who used to be in the energy industry can now move into other industries, including publishing, where the publishing worker can hand off some of his old tasks to the new workers now freed up to work in publishing. Also, the original publishing worker can buy more energy and lots of other things because now the overall economy is %30 more efficient due to prioritizing research on energy. This is basically how parecon also does away with designed obsolescence, deviating standards for the same parts, etc., and instead builds things to last, and to be repaired easily... Because it means we all work less while receiving more REAL wealth.

Robots will do all the gardening, cleaning, house chores, parks and streets and garbage and etc. You won't need police because there won't be social stratification and you won't need courts or a criminal justice system; all of which get replaced by a much more personal tribal family system. You don't need day traders because day trading is just a fat cats economic bubble. You don't need wall street, you don't need any kind of major distribution store really because everyone makes their own stuff in the yard. the only value becomes well designed things; the informational aspect of what it takes to make something technologically complicated. Or, alternatively, how to get some new kind of plant or etc growing in your garden... See how that goes? we all end up with the same job... designing stuff. Autocad.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

you don't even buy or sell the things any more. just the data.

(this is really technologically possible now. we are just talking about community personalization of manufacturing systems.. as soon as community becomes self sufficient in general..Again.. cross breed a corporation with a tribal unit... there you go.)

Well, we need to define a workable social contract that does not involve wheeling and dealing and scheming and self interest like that and then hire and fire people based on democratic participation.

Systemically speaking again; in a crime double think system; everyone who thinks there is justice is a sheeple waiting to get fleeced. everyone knows its rigged and so being a carreer criminal of any sort is pretty much not as bad as what the elites are doing anyhow in any case to build those empires. The robin hood syndrome etc. When the people at the top are evil, "crime" becomes a matter of perspective. But if a society makes people its own first priority in a sincere way; then and only then can the participants actually inversely make society their own first priority also. its fundamental to trust. If i know my company is going to treat me fairly and justly i will participate democratically. if i know its going to shaft me just like it shafts everyone else i will try to play THAT game to my benefit and make sure everyone else is shafter in line in front of me first. See? its ultimately hinging upon redefining the social contract as win/win instead of win/lose. I don't want the money of the elites; i just want them to stop the class warfare and have a democracy.

wow, i am floored and humbled by your take and time and contribution here, it seems i have been running around babysitting for long i barely know what to do when somebody picks up the phone.

I agree that the way out is community co-ops. From game and systems theory it is exactly that the macro economic system can never be ethical. The only way to stand up to it and maintain any kind of system at all is to build new family units which are stronger and more evolved to the needs which the macro economic system creates. We might call this postmodern Neo tribalism. only by forming community and new micro economies can we have the leverage to stand up to the macro economic system.

In this model, what is the goal of human society? Why is space exploration so necessary?

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

because frankly i'm the alien that came to your planet to give it warp drive and all the rest of this stuff is extraneous to me. Because the single best long term insurance wehave to continue the human species is to get into space. Because there are trillions of colonizable objects in our solar system. Because getting into space in a real way requires first having our problems on earth solved. because colonizing mars and colonizing the palestinian nation are actually almost the same problem. Because I herald the future, and bring it- all. Because we can and should get into space as soon as we have our affairs on earth in order. Because 1000 generations or so from now we would face a population growth problem.

[-] 1 points by iseeamuse (155) 12 years ago

What about creating a society that is in balance with the natural limitations we have on our planet? What about design for a sustainable future? If we create the world we need and want here, why do we need to try to continue this cycle of colonization?

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

i agree with those ideas. I'm not forcing you or anybody onto my space ship. Me and those who do want to explore the galaxy should have that right.

[-] 1 points by iseeamuse (155) 12 years ago

Oh absolutely, and in assuming that right you also need to assume the responsibilities for taking the value used in those materials and time spent in production and removing them from the common good (the planet even!).

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

fine point, i agree.

I like your ideas. I have been studying various alternative energy sources, and I discovered that we could become energy independent by raising sorghum, sugar cane and sugar beets, converting to ethanol and pump hundreds of billions of dollars back into our local economies in so doing. Green renewable fuel, produced locally. The first automobiles ran on ethanol, but the Rockefeller convinced Ford to run them on gasoline, and we know the rest of the story.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

geothermal power is orders of magnitude cheaper and greener and more accessible, so we don't need any kind of biofuels or oil or coal or etc. We need to become energy independent in ways that are not harmful to the ecology. renewable does not include biofuels. the second car ran on ethanol, the first was all electric.

to get serious requires a few things they don't have. like chat admins who aren't ego serving propaganda tools, a wiki, 1001 sub forums, an actual game plan, a straight up political platform... you know.. basic organizational things sane people do BEFORE protesting.. like figure out a diplomacy and logic centered metaprocess to give their chatadmins so that they don't really just drive out even more people than the trolls. Adminatrolla. trollaAdmin. Whats the difference to somebody whos got the truth facing a propaganda tool abusing admin powers to push their agenda? how can you prevent such a thing? Metaprocess. did i mention metaprocess? and science diplomacy science psychology science sociology and all those textbooks to read B4 protesting?

you can't have capitalism without a free(SLAVE) market. but you can have a free market without capitalism. And thats strangely the only way it CAN work.

Marketing 101 was fascinating. I admit thats a lot less than a bachelors but its sure more than enough to see whats really going on given the other things I know. Capitalism is not the problem since it does not exist. corporate oligarchy is the problem. capitalism has never been tried. I am a democracy guy. in order for real democracy to function a free market system is required. Thats not capitalism. thats a free market system. there is a subtle difference there which most people would miss. I will again repeat. Neither capitalism nor marxism nor communism nor socialism has ever existed. All of those governments were oligarchy pretending to be something as a con scam. Telling that simple truth gets one banned out of the Chat by either a capitalist or a socialist whos pissed you just said their pet ideology isn't real. It isn't. anybody who thinks that it is is accidentally playing for team corporate oligarchy as a tool. the ONLY system worth talking about is DEMOCRACY. how democracy HANDLES a FREE MARKET system is dynamic and interesting and NOT capitalism.

o. yes. no. yes. what? making change is not reliant on changing the money system one tenth as much as it is on changing the informational ecology. Going to a gold standard as an idea is a proof of ignorance, not a solution. Really the end game is we evolve out of money. To do that we evolve first new currencies and new economic strategies. this leads to economic singularity in about 50 years. If everyone is a millionaire how much you get depends on exactly the material valuation of that money. Which is to say that by the time money becomes obsolete everyone will live like the current millionaire. Tangible items to other tangible items? the real economy is about ideas, change the ideas and everything changes. the problem with the tangible economy is it does not change; its a static reality. you can't make a meaningful gold standard with only enough gold to represent on millionth of the economy. You can make a purely imaginal money system work; but it has to be subject to moral and ethical laws. This is about pinning down those moral and ethical laws and implementing them in new currencies; not trying to imagine a control freak impossible non solution because of the simplicity with which you go about thinking over the problem.

once again. there has never been a socialist or capitalist economy. in all instances such nations were oligarchies. using a mask and a con scam and telling their dupes and pwns that they were something other than oligarchy. the big hump to get over is that the USA oligarchy and the Soviet oligarchy are in on this lie against the rest of us TOGETHER. Neither of them was ever anything other than an oligarchy. both claimed some other system in order to have US fight over the ideals of THAT system while they secretly shafted us all playing a completely different game.
