Video: Kentucky students join Occupy Wall Street protest
On October 8, a delegation of over 40 students arrived at the Wall Street protest from Berea College in Kentucky, seeking to represent the working class and poor of Appalachia.
Just one day before the group was scheduled to depart, the college administration froze the funds raised by the student government for the trip. The students fought the school’s decision, and raised thousands of dollars in additional donations to make trip possible.
