Occupy Denver is discussed here in an article about “Women in OD”, which I wrote (OD Education Committee): http://www.possible-futures.org/2011/11/29/women-in-occupy-denver/ There are some amazing photos by OD photographers as well. The post is part of a new project by the Social Science Research Council, called “Possible Futures”, which has dispatches from several Occupy sites as well as essays by social theorists about the occupy movement. Let me make this one quote of women among many like it in our history: "Reverence Woman, mother of the universe,' in her lies the truth of creation. She is the foundation of all that is good and beautiful. She is the source of life and death. Upon her depends the existence of man, because she is the sustenance of his labors. She gives birth to you in travail, she watches over your growth. Bless her. Honor her. Defend her." I will be taking picture's tomorrow, in the snow, of those that are willing to give us Unconditional love.
