Forum Post: Why no mention of Schumer, Gillibrand, or NY reps in this forum, News?

Why not use this movement to try to influence NY's representatives? Using our numbers to compel them to pledge explicit support for specific reforms seems a modest goal and would form a foundation for more ambitious reform.

Seems to me that we should be flooding their offices daily with calls and emails.

I share the belief that NY's elected officials, and almost all US legislators, are unduly influenced by Wall Street money.

It does not follow, in my opinion, that they should be let off the hook, not held to account by the voters and by this movement.

Schumer is a huge shill for Wall Street. He needs to be replaced by a progressive. This is a guy who wrote that what Americans really hate, even more than war and Wall Street, is people who burn the American flag!

This fellow is idiotic, being that maybe a flag is burned probably every five years. lol

The majority of those elected officials are bought and paid for by Wallstreet.

They and haven't Listen to the people and have NOT done anything about, rampant foreclosures, esculating food prices, rising healthcare cost/premiums and yo-yo gas prices.

They have IGNORED the Voice of The People.

Hence. We are In the Streets expressing True Democracy!

Ignore the idiot below me. This movement is against corruption. Not one particular party.
