One word. Tyranny! Irrefutable tyranny.
In fact in my book revenge for election "losses", is treason. It's punishing the voters.
But here's the story.
"The reason Michigan matters, the reason why we can’t afford to stop paying attention to what’s going on here, is that it is a high-powered looking glass into the nuts and bolts of Republican revenge for Election 2012. We are all familiar with the term revenge, but if you want to get a good look at how political revenge truly operates and functions on the state level, and if you want to get an idea of what is written in the post Election 2012 Koch Brothers Playbook (aka “How YOU Can Still Strangle Blue States in the Crib”), then you need look no further than Michigan."

Here is a video about what happened to Michigan... at least starting with Engler the former Governor.

Tax the Rich: An animated fairy tale featuring Ed Asner. Really a perfect Video to Illustrate what has happened in most of our Cities.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Engler
How the hell does a guy graduate with an Agriculture degree and instantly get elected to the Michigan State House of Representatives... He was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives as a State Representative in 1970 at the age of 22.
... unless he was rich, connected, and Elist. And now works for ALEC... as a Traditional Republican. Holy Crap.
Engler is a piece of work all "right". Our roads still haven't recovered and now Snyder is raising taxes on those who can least afford it.
Sound familiar? It should.
You know I was in the Detroit metro area. I met some of the smartest guys I have met any where in my life. And seems like the people really like to get together and have a good time. I think people in Michigan can grow up with a real balance between family, work, education & play. And I'm sure it is still a good place to live.
I just can't understand what has happened in Michigan, except for the White flight from downtown Detroit to father subburbs ... loss of there tax base in many of the older parts of the cities.
And as you say ... it is just like the Offshoring of Profits, Cayman Island Bank accounts, and moving capital to foreign countries to produce with the cheapest labor, least safety rules, ... and the worship of Profit and Capitalism.
When Snyder, with Engler and DeVos's endorsement, assigns an EM to Detroit, the Nation "might" notice that it's actually real live tyranny.
or maybe not.
I can't get excited by republicans and democrats
Irrefutable evidence of actual tyranny excites me, in a negative way.
Local Financial Stability and Choice Act.Evil fucking bastards.
I guess it will be going to the Michigan Supreme Court. How is your Supreme Court?
Highly conse(R)vative don't you know. The Koch's like to buy those up first thing.
They have to when all the legislation they want passed is built on lies.

Indiana was sold a decade ago. All the way down the river.
Crushing the nascent urban farming movement in yet another show of tyranny.
"May 9, 2014 |
Michiganders who raise chickens, goats and honey bees on their residential property have had their right to keep livestock stripped away by the state’s Agriculture and Rural Development Commission, which says they are not protected by the same laws as commercial farms. Urban parts of Michigan, particularly Detroit, have been enjoying a renaissance of small-scale farming in recent years. Much of it has been in the form of community farms, residents providing food for themselves, and small entrepreneurs who sell fresh eggs, dairy, honey, and produce to their neighbors, sometimes off the books.
Commission Chair Diane Hanson said that the state’s previous agricultural management rules “were not suitable for livestock in urban and suburban areas.” Now, properties not zoned for agricultural use with 13 or more residences within an eighth of a mile or another residence within 250 feet may be required to cease keeping livestock if asked by local authorities. Hope you don't mind. Here is a link to Picture Journalism on NY Town in decay. Not sure you will find value. This guy is a writer and something of an econmist or a lay economist. Saw him on Informationclearinghouse then on Max Keiser.

Emergency Financial Manager Roy Roberts continues to occupy the office that should be occupied by the interim Superintendent Dr. John Telford because, well, I guess because it’s a bigger, nicer office
This is Treason. We don't have a Euro union. We have a United States. But Michigan has a Technocract that flew in under the Radar to Weild the First Powers of FEMA or some other Emergency Legislation.... As it says no one voted for this Power Grab!!

Where were you when they stole Democracy?
"If it happens here, it certainly won’t end here. The threat to Detroit’s democracy is a threat to everyone who values their right to vote, but especially to those whose vote is their only avenue toward effective representation in government. Not everyone can start a Super PAC. In fact most of us can’t. For most of us, the vote is our best way to let the powers-that-be know what we think, what we want, and to let them know that we will hold them accountable if they don’t act appropriately. Take away that vote, and you’re left with Gov. Rick Snyder’s America."

Convince us that the Michigan brand of tyranny is more harmful than the others!
Tyranny may have grown into a plague across the land because it is the natural order of things, like smog, forest fires and tornadoes.
In England, they have the tyranny of the monarchy replaced by the tyranny of parliament.
You think there is tyranny in Michigan. New Yorkers think there is tyranny in New York City.

Snyder and Michigan
http://www.michigan.gov/documents/snyder/highlights_372766_7.pdf
The free press has unfortunately done more to cover up the problem than to expose it .
Brand of tyranny?
Are you going into marketing one of them?
Usurpation of duly elected officials is tyranny in anyone's book...........
Except yours.
Usurpation of duly elected officils may be tyranny - Spending a whopping $100 million of your own money to be Mayor for a third time is in the record books! This happened after the same individual changed the law with the help of the city council!
Does usurping the election limit laws trump usurping duly elected officials? Apples vs oranges?
So what brand of tyranny did you say it was?
Your favorite brand apparently.
It's good to be king. What is tyranny?
http://constitution.org/tyr/prin_tyr.htm
The methodology of tyranny
The methods used to overthrow a constitutional order and establish a tyranny are well-known. However, despite this awareness, it is surprising how those who have no intention of perpetrating a tyranny can slip into these methods and bring about a tyranny despite their best intentions. Tyranny does not have to be deliberate. Tyrants can fool themselves as thoroughly as they fool everyone else.
Control of public information and opinion
It begins with withholding information, and leads to putting out false or misleading information. A government can develop ministries of propaganda under many guises. They typically call it "public information" or "marketing".
Vote fraud used to prevent the election of reformers
It doesn't matter which of the two major party candidates are elected if no real reformer can get nominated, and when news services start knowing the outcomes of elections before it is possible for them to know, then the votes are not being honestly counted.
Undue official influence on trials and juries
Nonrandom selection of jury panels, exclusion of those opposed to the law, exclusion of the jury from hearing argument on the law, exclusion of private prosecutors from access to the grand jury, and prevention of parties and their counsels from making effective arguments or challenging the government.
Usurpation of undelegated powers
This is usually done with popular support for solving some problem, or to redistribute wealth to the advantage of the supporters of the dominant faction, but it soon leads to the deprivation of rights of minorities and individuals.
Seeking a government monopoly on the capability and use of armed force
The first signs are efforts to register or restrict the possession and use of firearms, initially under the guise of "protecting" the public, which, when it actually results in increased crime, provides a basis for further disarmament efforts affecting more people and more weapons.
Militarization of law enforcement
Declaring a "war on crime" that becomes a war on civil liberties. Preparation of military forces for internal policing duties. Infiltration and subversion of citizen groups that could be forces for reform Internal spying and surveillance is the beginning. A sign is false prosecutions of their leaders.
Suppression of investigators and whistleblowers
When people who try to uncover high level wrongdoing are threatened, that is a sign the system is not only riddled with corruption, but that the corruption has passed the threshold into active tyranny.
Use of the law for competition suppression
It begins with the dominant faction winning support by paying off their supporters and suppressing their supporters' competitors, but leads to public officials themselves engaging in illegal activities and using the law to suppress independent competitors. A good example of this is narcotics trafficking.
Subversion of internal checks and balances
This involves the appointment to key positions of persons who can be controlled by their sponsors, and who are then induced to do illegal things. The worst way in which this occurs is in the appointment of judges that will go along with unconstitutional acts by the other branches.
Creation of a class of officials who are above the law
This is indicated by dismissal of charges for wrongdoing against persons who are "following orders". Increasing dependency of the people on government The classic approach to domination of the people is to first take everything they have away from them, then make them compliant with the demands of the rulers to get anything back again.
Increasing public ignorance of their civic duties and reluctance to perform them
When the people avoid doing things like voting and serving in militias and juries, tyranny is not far behind.
Use of staged events to produce popular support
Acts of terrorism, blamed on political opponents, followed immediately with well-prepared proposals for increased powers and budgets for suppressive agencies. Sometimes called a Reichstag plot.
Conversion of rights into privileges
Requiring licenses and permits for doing things that the government does not have the delegated power to restrict, except by due process in which the burden of proof is on the petitioner.
Political correctness
Many if not most people are susceptible to being recruited to engage in repressive actions against disfavored views or behaviors, and led to pave the way for the dominance of tyrannical government.
UH-OH
Snyder did most, if not all of these things.
So what "brand" did you say that was?
Then Snyder is the"typical" modern post 20th-century 21st-century tyrant except he is not backed by an army like Mubarak - Saddam Hussein were.
Lower level politicans in the US have police departments but not armies. GW Bush is a better example of a tyrant with an army considering the suspicious execution of the 9/11 attacks and what followed.
How about Augustus Caesar?
Koch whore, is the more accurate description.
Destroying America, one state at a time, just like daddy Koch wanted.
When Snyder acts like a tyrant it affects Michigan, which is bad. When Bush did whatever he did it affects the whole world. Destabilizing the Near and Middle East was not a good thing for us or anyone else! Could it be any worse?
Is Snyder creating jobs in Michigan?
Destroying America, one State at a time, just like daddy Koch wanted.
What makes you sure there is NO Koch connection to Bush?
I just never looked. There IS a Koch connection to Clinton though.
Like I said before neolibe(R)tarians have infected my government.
No, Michigan has lost jobs since Snyder and the teabagge(R)s came to town.
With the economy picking up some, I'm sure he will try and claim it's about him when the auto corps start hiring again, but it isn't.
I am pretty sure Michigan has been losing jobs since Snyder was in college.
Not so.
Jobs were booming through most of the 90s, and we were called the most productive workforce the World had ever seen.
I worked on an assembly line that put out 425 axles an hour, 20 hours a day 6 days a week. That went on for most of the decade, and for a few years that line didn't even stop for breaks.
Then along came Bush, and pfffffft!
Michigan could possibly blossom into the Land of Oz in comparison to the Empire State which has huge flocks of albatross.
The Michigan Matters issue is about the Emergency Manager Law.
An emergency manager is subject to impeachment and conviction by the legislature as if he or she were a civil officer under section 7 of article XI of the state constitution of 1963. A vacancy in the office of emergency manager shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.

So, pro tyranny for you then?
Or do you have a belief that says he who copies and pastes the most wins?
What tyrrany? Michigan Legislature may impeach an Emergency Manager. The Governor can fire an Emergency Manager whenever he chooses.
You just endorsed it "right" there.
I guess you just find it confusing.
This is likely a bit complicated for you, but it might help you figure it out.
Meet the new GOP boss worse than the Dem boss.

Is $100K too much salary for the Mayor of Pontiac?
Mayor's Salaries of Ten Major US Cities
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sa_steve/2380988657/
When 7 of 10 mayors of the top 10 US cities have salaries above $100K it seems that the expectations for the performance of the mayor would be elevated to justify such reward. Is he simply pledging to work at least twice as hard or twice as smart as the last mayor?
He started out at $30,000.
What do you think you know about Pontiac?
You know, without google.
i'm sure other search engines also work
You are unfortunately correct.
why unfortunate ?
See his copy and paste, limited travelog above.
$30K is what an average data entry clerk makes outside of Pontiac; Is the Mayor's labor worth more than $15/hr?
Jason Hanson is paid nearly$8 million. As the mayor of New York, Bloomberg declines to receive a city salary, accepting remuneration of $1 annually for his services.
Pontiac is named after Chief Pontiac, the city was best known throughout its history for its General Motors automobile manufacturing plants including Fisher Body, Pontiac East Assembly (a.k.a. Truck & Coach/Bus) and Pontiac Motor Division, which in the city's heyday was the primary automobile assembly plant where the famed Pontiac cars were produced and named after the city. The city of Pontiac also was home to Oakland (automobile) Motor Car Company which was acquired by General Motors in 1909. Also of note is the Pontiac Silverdome, the stadium that hosted the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL) from 1975 until 2002, when the team moved back to Downtown Detroit.
Anything else?
Your depth of understanding is nothing short of astounding.
A Modest Proposal … Take Two
Friday, 04 January 2013 | Bob Alexander | http://tvnewslies.org
Note: The first time I heard about "A Short History of Conservative Obstruction to Progress" was on Mike Malloy's radio program in 2008. I was so impressed with it I put it up in the "rants" section on Superbeans (http://superbeans.com/rant_02_01_08.htm) as a readily accessible reminder that The Elite, and the Crazy Stupid People that follow them, have unrelentingly opposed everything and anything that would benefit We The People.
The key word here is unrelentingly. Conservatives are like the movie monsters from the Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th movies. You can’t stop them. You can stab them in the neck, set them on fire, or whack them in the head with a machete, but after a few seconds of getting their movie-monster-mojo together … they rise up again and again and again … and their murderous rampage continues until the closing credits. Unlike their victims, the movie monsters don’t need to stop to sleep, eat, or even catch their breath. But when their hapless quarry takes a breather … Watch Out … that’s when The Monsters Get You. [Zombies]
The Elite and their Crazed Conservative Shills in Congress are even more powerful than their silver screen counterparts. They can lose elections and still have the power to destroy. How could these people deny relief to hurricane Sandy victims? Because they’re monsters. Why are they still trying to destroy our social safety nets? George Carlin explained it all perfectly:
“They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. … And now they’re coming for your social security money. They want your retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it.”
They’ll get it because they’ve spent decades and untold billions to create and condition enough dumb-asses that don’t know what the hell is going on but believe, and deeply care about, gibberish.
Here are some Ugly American Facts. 61% of Americans don’t believe in evolution. 47% believe the universe is less than 10,000 years old. One child in four grows up not knowing how to read, 21 million Americans can't read at all, and the average American doesn’t read one book in a year. This means if you go outside … you’ve got more than a fifty-fifty chance of meeting a crazy stupid person. Hell … there’s a huge chance you’re related to crazy stupid people. I know I am.
My little circle of acquaintances and family members is positively teeming with crazy stupid people. Maybe you’re in the same boat. So how are we supposed to deal with people who fervently support war crimes, deny science, disregard facts, fear anyone with a skin color darker than their own, are completely unhinged by the concept of same-sex marriage, and believe it is more important to regulate vaginas instead of guns?
I’ve spent years struggling with that question and I’ve spent years doing what all good little liberals do … countering nonsense with facts. You know how that’s worked out? So far I have a 100% failure rate. Not one crazy stupid person budged one millimeter from their position. The Iraq War was A Good Thing. There is no such thing as Global Climate Change. There is no such thing as Peak Oil. Brown People are Scary. Gay people are Scary. Women are Scary. Gun violence is caused by everything but guns.
So I quit talking to these people because I finally realized a very simple fact. You cannot use a rational argument with anyone who is irrational. So put down The Big Book of Facts and walk away. Just walk away.
I read an article by Alan Greenblatt on the NPR website the other day: When It Comes To Politics, States Are Barely United.
The “Red” states are getting redder and the “Blue” states are getting bluer. I don’t think that would be a surprise to anyone who has sat across the Thanksgiving table while the fat-assed brother-in-law holds forth on the dangers of gay marriage. There’s nothing you can say to him that’ll change his mind. If you counter any of his dumb-ass arguments he’ll simply double down on his dumb-assery and keep talking until he runs out of steam. You can’t have a “two-way street” discussion with this guy. It’s not allowed. So now we get to the Modest Proposal part.
It’s not enough to passively avoid these dumb-asses. I’m not talking about “drawing a line in the sand.” It’s already there. They drew the damn thing in the first place. It’s time to actively shun these people. If this yahoo believes in denying anyone their rights you tell him he’s a goddamned fool. If it’s your house … tell him to get the hell out. If it’s his house … gather up your coats and hats and family and get the hell out. We’ve got to stop tolerating these dumb-asses. Piers Morgan dispensed with Gun Nut Larry Pratt by simply telling him, “You're An Unbelievably Stupid Man, Aren't You?”
We need more of this type of response to dumb-assery. We have got to put these dumb-asses on notice that we’re not going to tolerate their insanity any longer. We’re done with these yahoos. Crazy Stupid People should not be invited to the conversation because of a misguided desire to appear to be fair and balanced. The most ridiculous position I can imagine is to ask the people who caused the problem to help with the solution.
We’ve got to shun the dumb-asses because they have no interest in solving the problem. Their agenda is to make it worse.
Now I realize that my Modest Proposal is in no way helping to bridge the political divide that exists in the United States. Some might say it exacerbates the problem.
Really?
The fat-assed bother-in-law vehemently against same sex marriage is the problem. Ignoring him is the problem. Tolerating his ignorance and inhumanity is the problem. Telling him to shut up might be the beginning of the solution.
See here’s the deal … This isn’t about politics anymore … it’s about survival. We can’t have a bunch of bible-thumping morons influence the decisions about what to do about Global Climate Change. We can’t have these dupes of the corporatocracy interfere anymore. We’ve got to tell them to shut the hell up and go sit in the corner until the adults figure out what to do.
So shun ‘em and see what happens. Will the Blue States get Blue-ier and the Red States get crazier?
Yeah.
But that’s already happening.
Will it get better if we negotiate with Crazy Stupid People?
No. We’ll just lose more ground as the oceans rise.
Is there a solution to The Political Divide?
Probably not … but at least we’ll have the satisfaction of giving the crazy bastards the finger before we all sail off the cliff.
We gotta keep our eyes on the ball! I think the left/progressives did a decent job fighting voter suppression and other cheating efforts by repubs but we can't let up.
They are working as hard as ever.

(R)epelican'ts are the greatest threat to the 99% because that proudly push the policy of the oligarchs.
The greatest threat to the World are the neolibe(R)tarians.
They ARE the plutocrats and oligarchs.
YES! #1 OWS priority=fighting those 1% elements in order to correct the destructive economic inequity/injustice.
My organization located in Grand Rapids, MI Chamberlin-Franklin House Of Representatives has many creative tactics to raise the value of the dollar and make the working mans life much better. We can end slavery to the dollar. Entertainment is Happiness unless you have health or relationship problems, so Entertainment is as good as money and some of our projects involve bringing more affordable entertainment to this world. Put it this way...CFHR starts businesses for fun, not profit. What if we started a Health Supply or Diesel Refining Company for little profit? These are the types of things your donations to us go towards.
And this has what to do with the tyranny enacted by Snyder?
Are you saying you endorse his union busting tactics too?
His tax increases on those who can least afford them?
His continual lying?
Just what is your deal?
Tyranny.
A modicum of headway against it has occurred.
Will it be enough to fight a conse(R)vative State supreme court?
http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/02/judge-smacks-down-pontiac-emergency-financial-manager-says-hes-running-the-city-like-a-dictatorship.html
Michigan is now a right to work State and things are finally looking up here. Just have to get the lazy blacks and mooslims to find a job and then we will be ok
Dictatorship, to be made permanent.
At least that's plan.
"The Michigan legislature is debating a series of bills to impose a financial authority on Detroit that would remain in place long after the city emerges from bankruptcy. An unelected financial “oversight” committee, known as the Michigan Settlement Administration Authority (MSAA), would run the city for two decades, effectively usurping the local government.
When the governor of Michigan installed Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr in Detroit last March, it was presented as a temporary measure, lasting 18 months at most. Now, according to the restructuring plan submitted by Orr, a bankruptcy lawyer with close ties to Wall Street, a new body “composed of individuals with recognized financial competence and experience” will have the authority to limit city borrowing and expenditures and tear up labor agreements.
The authority is to be charged with ensuring that the city “continues to implement financial and operational reforms” outlined in the restructuring plan. This includes an effective 30 percent cut in pensions and health care benefits for more than 30,000 current and retired public employees. The “robust governance structure” outlined in Orr’s plan will promote “long-term public confidence in the fiscal health and stability of Detroit, in particular with financial markets.”

Yes...we MUST stop free choice in the workplace. MAKE ALL workers join unions. And we must use their union dues to support liberal causes.
You fucking NAZIS
OK, Get busy and help make it happen.
If you want to fuck a fascist when you are done, help yourself.
The highlander has admitted to being one, so help yourself.
Well time for me to go to work and earn real money, and pay taxes. I'll stop by later to bitch slap you some more my little dumbbell friend. You truly seem to enjoy it.
Professional hemorrhoid scratching in fantasyland pays well these days?
When you stick to what you're good at, good things come to you.
What revenge? They got Obama, they should be thrilled if they looked at his actions the last 4 years and ignored the media.
He's bombing 6 nations, he attacked Libya, we pulled troops out of Iraq but are maintaining the occupation, he ditched the universal plan and went with the 90s GOP plan for healthcare,
His idea of gun legislation is allowing them in trains and national parks.
Payroll tax expired, adding another 2% to middle class taxes. Regardless of their talking points, the GOP loves taxing the midle class, which is why we arent hearing about it too much.
Which leads me to ask- Is this revenge? Or simply more of the same?
The same cast of characters is running the show still, for the last 40 years. I see no reason why the RNC or the DNC would be upset. We are still on a slow ride to the bottom, and nothing radical happened. Very manageable in their eyes.
Im going with more of the same.
Yeah you wanna spread the lie that dems are as bad as repubs in order to minimize the guilt and threat of anti 99% repub/conservative policies.
Obviously your repubs behavior proves otherwise, the massive 40 state effort to suppress the dem vote, the traitorous obstruction of economic recovery proposals, the neocon pressure for more invasions.
The country is light years better with Dems in control than the right wing wackos you protect with this fallacy of "both the same propaganda"
Thank the Fed and its bubble its creating, not the Dems.
Neither party has the abilty to stop what is at work, because they are bought out. Banks run this shit.
Hence OWS. End the Fed/Banking Cartel. Remove money from politics.
Yes money out of politics support movetoamend.org. Protest the conservative court that created citizens united. Support the progressives who are fighting to change it.
Support the progressives who are fighting for stronger fin regulation, fight the conservatives who watered down Dodd/Frank, who have delayed for 2 years the implementation of fin reform, and who have pledged to repeal it.
This is Dodd after repealing Glass Steagall:
""I welcome this day as a day of success and triumph," said Sen. Christopher Dodd, (D-Conn.)."
Thats what happens in this revolving door of corruption. Asking the same people who willingly and knowingly screw us to fix us is insanity at its best.
Dodd is not being asked to fix anything, he has retired. Get up to speed moron.
Money out of politics support movetoamend.org. Protest the conservative court that created citizens united. Support the progressives who are fighting to change it.

Your attitude?
It serves to encourage posters like the one above your post.
I'm sure you must have noticed that by now, but you go ahead and encourage them anyway.....
Now why is that?
Do you agree with them more than you disagree with virtually all the "liberal" posters that you constantly attack?
I fear it is so.
It's the John Birch Society way.
Most of us considers those that blindly follow the Dem party, especially with its current track record, as fake liberals. Media liberals if you will. Establishment liberals. DINOS.
You're taking my statement that nothing has changed, and this is just business as usual for these creatons, as a statement of agreeing with what they are doing. And Im not sure why.
You don't speak for anyone but your own right wing self. So let;s get that straight right off the bat. And who the fuck cares what you think? You spew obscene, unfounded lies about anyone who disagrees with you fatalistic, dystopic, negative outlook.
Give up! Who the fuck cares you are useless because you support the right wing by staying silent on their guilt/threat to the 99%.
I see most people recognizing Dems have serious problems. Mostlry that they have drifted right, and cave in to support anti 99% conservative policies.
Each election cycle must & will bring an improvement with that dem failure.
We must grow this movement, protest all pols in the street and agitate for progressive change that benefits the 99%
Gotta keep replacing anti 99% conservatives (both parties) w/ pro 99% progressives. (until the new horizontal, ground up, direct democracy system is set up)
"Gotta keep replacing anti 99% conservatives (both parties) w/ pro 99% progressives. (until the new horizontal, ground up, direct democracy system is set up)"
Or we could sit on this site for the rest of our lives. good bye mascot.
You can! We are making slow progress replacing right wing conservative extremists.
Who's us?
You're the one leading the attack.
You don't try reason. You attack them...relentlessly.
Only token attacks, if any at all on the perceived "right wing".
You always did. All the way back to the beginning of this site, when you were still pushing the Ron Paul agenda.........
[Removed]
hmmmm...and which Agenda is this? Anti War and Anti Fed?
Most occupiers support that. Dems and Reps dont. But most occupiers do.
Hmmmm, You actually believe that most Occupiers believe in a relentless attack on the "left wing" while ignoring the actions of the "right wing", and actually love Alex Jones for his........LOL.........unbiased support for Ron Paul.
Anti-war........I'll buy that.. I hate it too.
The FED crap?
That's stuff you've made up.
Let me re-iterate.
WALLSTREET (remember them?) BOUGHT the FED as a scapegoat, for their actions.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled attack on anyone YOU deign as liberal.
Still having a problem responding to what's posted, I see.
You still haven't responded to the gist of the thread.
Just more of your usual obfuscation.
Just more of YOU missing the point.
Now go on and get back to your personal attacks and BULLSHIT about duopoly
democrat led unions killed detroit.
cars being made elsewhere did
and why were/are care made elsewhere? manufacturers did /do not have to contend with unions.
people in other nations also wanted cars
cars are being made in right to work states,...............no unions to contend with.
does not change demand for cars
no, doesnt change the demand, but give the production to right to work ( non union)states.
many advertisers push consumption to keep the economy money
because for most people
if there is no work , there is no money
[Removed]
No. You did.
Now get your ass over here and fix it.
My response is this isnt revenge, its business as usual.
Sorry its not sensationalized enough for you. Perhaps I could go with
"ALEC back ont eh attack after roaring defeat at the hands of progressives!!!"
Except that would be a lie, because nothing really changed after this election. Sure, a few crumbs, but nothing to get excited about.
You still haven't read it.
Still refuse to respond to what was said.
It was revenge.......Pure and simple........revenge.
Revenge that ignored the voters.
Ignored the constitution.
Created REAL tyranny.
Tyranny YOU have ignored.........every time I've posted it.
Now wipe the drool off your ALEC bib.
"Ignored the constitution. Created REAL tyranny."
Thats just business as usual in this fucked up system. If you fall for the sensationalized shit meant to keep you in the D/R box, thats your problem. You and that idiot mascot should go together to investigate it.
You STILL haven't responded to what is said in the OP.
You still ignore it.
You're still drooling all over your ALEC bib.
And now you take a cheap shot insult.
It's YOU who needs to do a little investigation into ALEC and the Kochs, but I fear you like them far too much to so that.
I used to try and believe you weren't this stupid.
I was wrong.
Once again you refuse to respond to the gist of what was posted.
So you perform slight of hand for ALEC.
Are you stumping for an advertizing account with them, or do you already have one?
Im saying, revenge for what? The establishment clearly won again. Its why they are able to get away with this shit.
An election that produced radical change would not allow this to happen.
They won. The effort wasnt good enough. Not that it cant be, but this time was a failure.
But we chipped away at the right wing wacko tea party extremists, and elected 40 candidates that the progressive movement claimed victory on.
That is slow progress, small victories. Best we can do. Keep up the pressure, stay alert to the right wing efforts to cheat & steal elections.
"It's the only way to be sure"
They lost big time in Michigan, try and pay attention to the thread.
Heaven forbid you would actually read what was in the link..
You have a VERY bad habit of not doing that.
The country has a (R)epelican't problem.
http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/01/5-reasons-why-america-has-a-republican-problem.html
Your constant denials do nothing to help, it only serves to distract.
