Most of OWS I think will eventually choose to protest against Obama since he has benefited more from Wall Street and has bailed out Wall Street even slightly more than the GOP. Obama was even a higher recipient of funds from the weapons dealers than even John McCain and hence why the military budget increased after Obama when the Democrats had full power.

However, changing one's views after being so emotionally engaged with Obama who campaigned on reform and change is that identifying the 'good guy,' and 'bad guy,' paradigm now becomes all the more hazy. It also creates confusion and maybe a sense of hopelessnes when we realize we've been deceived by both parties who have not been on the side of 99/100 people.

Obama's actions who line up more with neo-conservatives as they even admit when not campaigning (look it up) creates a dissonance in our minds. Like an abused partner, we'd rather stay in ignorance and not take a stand in order to .......

Absolutely right. People continue to support Obama out of misplaced party loyalty. Reality has not caught up yet... How could anyone still be in the honeymoon phase with Obama, now that he has a proven track record that is literally worse than Bush's?

Obama: assassinating American citizens abroad (including a 16 yr old boy) More wars (Yemen, Syria, now troops in Australia) More drone strikes More innocents dead More prosecution of medical marijuana users Less openess than the Bush administration Lobbyists and corporate actors in the administration (against his promises and many of them big banks to boot)

Seriously who can still support him?

The problem with society now - MY VIEW; people feel loyalty to a specific click or party they once affiliated with. You should stay affiliated with YOURSELF. Each of us has a responsibility to our common Democracy. Each of us makes a decision based on a gut 'feeling' or intuition about a candidate. Those that ignore their intuitions an vote out of 'loyalty' are fools. I am an Independent - as everyone in a Democracy should be - voting Independent and deciding apart from others. We're not lemmings people, we're Americans and we live in a Democracy.
