OWS-Forum M0Ds REALLY need to get together and start asking themselves exactly what & who this forum is for.

When Total F**kwit Trolls like this 'anony1' prick (who I believe got canned from LiveStream - if his previous whining here is anything to go off !) get to start this kind of bollocks, you really need to take a good hard look at WTF is going on ?
Let these pricks come and take on posters OF legit threads and those posters can invigilate / moderate their own threads but for these wankers to be able to start and then feed their own threads is f**kin' beyond me. Why aren't Initial Forum Posts being M0Ded just a little more actively ?!
Did centrists, libertarian conservatives let alone leftists do this on Teabagger Fora, for example ?! I don't know as I wouldn't dream of joining Right Wing Sites in case I was induced to cough up a lung in a fit of apoplexy but the same is NOT true in the other direction ... because your average Right-Wing Nut-Job is a bilious, shit-filled, hate-spewer who likes nothing more than regurgitating his "ABCNNBCBS-Fuz SNEWzzz" Twaddle and received Propagandistic Mind-Managed 'talking points' at any opportunity !!
I could go on but the point is made ... I hope ! Trolls are inevitable but why be a Troll Magnet allowing these c*nts a platform and soapbox to piss off & demoralise genuine 'OWS' backers, sympathisers and those just curious ?!
Back in the day in the UK we'd try to maintain a 'NO Platform' for Fascists' policy. Perhaps OWS M0Ds should at least discuss & contemplate a 'NO Soap-Box for Hate-Spewing Nut-Job' Policy ?!

Just do human moderation of new posts. You know, they are read by a moderator BEFORE appearing on the site.
As, it is they kcktards just keep posting the same mindless idiocy over and over. Leave the comments as live posting, as we can now vote down stupid trolls. I would rather is takes a some hours before a new post appears, and have a forum that is not 70 percent useless garbage.
@ jph : Your thoughts of the need for an Initial M0D read before a post can hit the forum chimes well with me, though in truth I wouldn't myself advocate waiting for many or indeed 'any', hours before a post hit the forum. I suppose that it's down to the availability of M0Ds as much as anything as 'nomdeguerre' points out above.

This board is a troll magnet because they are the tick, fleas and other parasites used to running the show, while the sleeping bear of democracy lay immobile. However, the bear (us, the people) is waking up and shaking them off. I think they are very, very scared.
As to why they are allowed the run of the place, perhaps it's economics. It would be a full time job and I doubt there are paid mods.
The only explanation that i can think of is that they want to be a part of it, but they don't know how to express themselves in a constructive way yet.
