The title of this post says it all, Why Are we not trying to shut down Wall Street ? People keep trying to shut down ports, Banks, businesses ect ... Why the hell isn't their a mob of 50 K sitting around the NYSE refusing to let any one in ?

I hate to say it but the OWS movement is becoming a total joke. We know what the problem is. We know how to fix it yet all that any one does is sit around in a park some where banging on drums and crying about it.

I think OWS should shut down Wall Street, but I wonder how much it would really be affected. The trading that happens at the NYSE is only a fraction of the market, while shutting down the country's ports would cause a lot more damage to the stock market.

I Don't know how much money changes hands every day at the NYSE... The money lost from shutting down a port is a miniscule fraction of the money that would be lost by shutting down the NYSE. I'm sure there are single transactions done every day at the NYSE that involve more money then any single port would make in a year.

Attack the money and the people buying our politicians. Attacking a business or port.. Hate to say it but IMHO is just plain stupid.
