Forum Post: who can I contact to organize an event.

Iparte.com is organizing an event to show support and solidarity for Occupy Wall Street. Some of us are coming down tomorrow and would like to organize a group sing along to correspond with the Global event. Does anyone know who I could contact to get this info out. We are going to bring printed flyers down with the song lyrics and time tomorrow, but it would be nice have contact with whoever is down there. I think this would make be a great a beautiful media event for the cause to have Wall Street and the world singing the same song together in support of the movement.

We are looking forward to coming down tomorrow. We are traveling 8 hours. Will it be easy to get to liberty square or will it too busy to get that close?
please listen!!! we need to get american flags in the hands of the protesters. it is imperative to the survival of the movement. please pass this word. when the soilders come, they will be less likely to fire upon those holding american flags. we must make this a patriotic movement to gain momentum and to disarm the government stance that the protesters are terroist. this will become a tactic to turn the majority against you.please, please pass this to any one you can, pass out as many flags as you can, once again , it is imperative this be done. the flag will give all a sysmbol to unite.it will draw those who are not involved. please understand the importance of this. my bothers and sisters, the time has come. it is our duty to see this through!!! good luck to us all!!!

Do you have an understanding of the power of sound in healing and releasing negative energy. Do you have any understanding how unifying music is? People relate to music. Do you realize there are people that physically can not attend and this gives them a way to connect and feel good. It is akin to mediation. It is very powerful and what else are the protesters suppose to do besides hold signs and chant. It will bring the group together.

A sing along? Are you serious? I mean seriously? I suggest everyone take a look at the protests in Greece and Europe that are showing effectiveness and then ask yourself how many of them are fighting global corporate takeover of their systems with 'sing alongs'. If the rest of the public is to take this movement seriously then the movement must do something serious. Anyone who resonates with this movement is being called to service. We must draw a line in the sand and say... NO MORE. :)

Is far as I understand there is no real direct contact between the site here and the protest, there is no one person you need to contact just show up and be a part of what is going on.
