My brother and I are driving to Liberty Plaza this Friday. Do people just show up, plant a tent wherever and go to events? That's what we're planning to do.
Is there anything we should know to avoid trouble?

You should know, no tents allowed, so bring good tarps (I made the mistake of bringing a bad tarp). There's not a great base for that type of information, but after a week there I was starting to get it down, though I had to leave just after the big Oct 15th march to get back to my job. Feel free to PM me with specific questions and I will help the best I can.
