We need to go one better. It is not enough to occupy Wall Street, Zuchotti Park and the others. We ARE the 99%. We need to identify those within our ranks that are our Thomas Paines and Martin Luther King Jr.s. We need to occupy the government throughvast write in campaigns. We need to reject the empty political parties that are managed by the 1% and reform them in our image. We can no longer allow ourselves to be forced into choosing between the lesser of two evils. We must find our voices and join them together until they are loud enough to be heard above the noise of the government and big media.

To a certain extent I have done that for myself. A tongue-in-cheek reference on my FB, that I am a Republicratarian. In truth I don't think that something so pointed and narrow can encompas the changes we are lloking for. Maybe an 'Everymans Party' would be alittle closer. We need people who have struggled the way we have to represent us. It is necessary to use the constitution as the foundation because our ability to create change this way is rooted in it's very existence. I believe that the ideas put forth are fundamental in creating a space of true equality. I am not necessarily looking to promote my views as much as I am trying to promote the idea that the common person's views are no less valid simply because they aren't wealthy.

Fine. Create your own political party. Organize in every state. Nominate someone and get their name on the ballot next year.

I completely agree. The two party system in this country sucks.

We need to keep talking, organizing, demonstrating, building what could be the next American Revolution. What is amazing is that we should be able to accomplish this without war. We are in the same position as our founding fathers.
We are poorly and under-represented. We are being unreasonably and unfairly taxed. We are suffering under a corrupt political system. We are forced to watch our country's wealth and resources being squandered and shipped to foriegn countries. We, once again and maybe most importantly, are in the position of the majority.

If they, on horseback and in taverns with lanterns and hand-set printing presses, could do it, SO CAN WE!

I don't think it will take an all-out revolution. We have a perfectly good constitution. The problem is, our government doesn't follow it.

Congress and the president are completely corrupted by the money in politics. The supreme court is creating law and are simply using their own liberal/conservative bias to make their rulings. The Constitution for the most part gets ignored and case law used as the basis for decisions there.

Maybe you could call your new party the "People's Constitutional Party". Advocate strict adherence to the Constitution. There is nothing wrong with it - we just need to start following it again.
