Rush is POWERFUL because of US,,, not the other way around. If it wasnt Rush it would be someone else. You can try to get rid of Rush all you want but Rush is just ONE of MILLIONS of examples of the RIGHT way America should be ran. Spend all your time on Rush,,,, we are glad,,, because we got MILLIONS and MILLIONS that could take his place in a second. Dont think that bringing down Rush will change any of our minds. Rush is a 'GUY' with only ONE microphone.

Well, you correctly identified the problem. It isn't Rush, it is the people who listen to him. We do understand Rush, clinically. It is the rest of you that is so puzzling. That significant numbers of you are willing to become sycophants of such a flawed character with so little charisma seems difficult for mental health experts to explain. It seems to be an unusually protracted form of hysteria previously exhibited exclusively in women.
There are a numbers of studies of this phenomenon in process and I eagerly await the outcome. You must be in one of the active groups rather than a control group?
And YET,,,,, you need, US, to survive. That is why you whine at such extreme levels needing us and,,,,, we really dont need you. That is what YOU dont understand. You cant seem to solve your own problems. You NEED millions and millions to become liberal in need of OUR help. Try changing your focus away from US and toward those that you think need the help. TARP was passed by the GOP, as I recall. And you refuse to let the tax breaks go away for people who wouldn't let you wash one of their cars. You don't even get to use them. Do you?
What is so difficult to understand is why you claim to advocate for individual self interest while you are being short changed by the 1% along with the rest of the 99%. working on getting the government to institute more jobs programs that will put the poor unemployed back to work.
living wage amendments that would raise the minimum wage to rates that allow people to be able to afford basic amenities instead of having to use welfare & ebt.

I agree Limbaugh is just one man that can distill the feelings of millions into one simple idea. He does pretty much for the right what Maddow and Olbermann do for the left. They all go too far with interpreting the words and actions of others and oversimplify complex issues. They are more entertainers preaching to the choir then anything else.
In this case I think the point was missed and the whole thing has backfired on him. He's made Sandra Fluke a celebrity and done more to advance her cause then she could have ever done.
I really dont think this past week is any more than a gnat on time. She had her 15 mintues of fame. She will pose in Playboy and need even more condoms. Then a year later she will look like crap. Insurance companies are smarter than you. The reason they aren't complaining is that providing them saves them money. That was disclosed when the were debating "Obamacare". “In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t seem like a material cost to be added to the managed care company or the employer,” Stifel Nicolaus health insurer analyst Tom Carroll told Reuters. Of course they were charging everybody who didn't know that extra, if they could get it. When Obama called them on that fact they caved, because they want all of their clients on it to save them money, on birth benefits and the other heath issues it solves (15 million women need the pill for non contraceptive reasons). So, it has a cost but it saves money, so nobody has to pay a net nickle. But that doesn't help your lame scenario does it?

Limbaugh does seem to have something in common with many millions of people I don't doubt that at all. I've seen the national ratings, I think all ten of the top ten talk hosts are conservative. It should be something of a reality check for those always talking about representing the 99%.

I realized something: the GOP has lots of supporters because it is easy to HATE. HATE is the easy, juvenile response to something that you are not knowledgeable about. See the HATE towards proven climate science. Conservatives HATE climate science because it disproves their fantasy fiction book... and that makes them uncomfortable. They want to live simple lives where everything is defined in black and white, where white is right so attack the blacks. Where homos are dead, and the latinos have fled, and we can live our little white lives. No thinking required, just HATE everyone that isn't white, middle-aged, and male and read the fantasy fiction book every Sunday instead of confronting the real world.

I agree. not all conservatives agree 100% with Rush, but he is very popular and he pioneered conservative radio shows. I prefer Michael Medved and Michael Savage's shows. The left is just jealous because they have no big lefty radio show. Well they do have NPR and Pacific Radio, but NPR needs tax payer support to survive and Pacific radio has 9 listeners.
