After reading several day of posts on this forum, I'm wondering if some the people writing posts have studied what kind of government we have in this country. The reason that I ask this question, is some of you talk like the president is all powerful and can solve the problems in this country by himself. This is not a dictatorship were the president can do anything he want to do. He is required to try and work with the house and the senate. The only power he really has is to pass or veto. This summer he could not even make recess appointments because the republicans somehow manage keep the senate going during the summer recess. Even when one party has all three branches of government, the minority in the Senate can filibuster any bill they don't like. So, why blame everything that has wrong with this country?

The type of government we currently have is Fascist.
The corporations are in total control of government due to massive campaign financing. The people are relegated to the status of subjects of the kings who are the corporations. The country was designed to be a Representative Republic where the citizens were sovereign and held all power not specifically given to the government. The government was supposed to be subservient to the people and work in the peoples best interests. The House of Representatives was elected by each congressional district and were responsible directly to the people of that district. The Senate was elected by the State government and was directly answerable to the State legislature. This insured the Senators would always act in the best interest of their individual States. This also enhanced the power of the individual States in relationship to the Federal Government. This was changed in 1912 in order to simultaneously usurp power from the States, and to pave the way for the illegal installation of the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve then took the control of the money supply away from the Congress and therefore the people and placed it with the banks. This laid the foundation of the government we have today which is controlled completely by banks and corporations.
