Supreme Court to rule on Obama health-care law
The supreme court will be ruling on two aspect of this monstrosity of a law:
(1) Is the mandate that forces people to purchase insurance constitutional? (2) If the mandate is found unconstitutional, is it severable? i.e. does finding the mandate unconstitutional invalidate the entire law.
Obviously 2 doesn't apply if the court rules in favor of (1).
Bottom line: How will Kennedy feel that day: liberal or conservative? For those of you who know the political leaning of the other 8, it's obvious how they'll vote.
