Those two parties seems to be supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement:
What is the opinion of people here about the Working Families Party and the Green Party?
Here something some cities and countries allow: VOTE NONE OF THE ABOVE. In elections in France 50 % of the electorate must vote (some municipal elections, national elections) or the elections are null and void. Good. Then there must be an obligatory vote, like in Belgium, Australia and Brazil .... with penalties like a) no bank accounts b) no passports for those who don't vote. Shortly the politicians would discover that the majority do not want their "democrate and republican" double-talk. In many more democratic countries with mult-party systems the top will must get 40 % of the vote or there is a run-off between the top two candidates----which is better than allowing a party who gets 30 % of the vote to get elected.
The ideas of the Working Families Party about the elections and political reform:

"That’s why the WFP is fighting for public financing of elections, a bold idea that would radically level the playing field between working families and powerful corporate interests."
I like the green party.
Its like what the democratic party used to be before Obama ruined it with his "reaching across the aisle" bs.

Here is a good link going over the Green Part platform in detail.
Thank you.

Opinions?
Seems interesting...
Don't you think?
Radicals who have an agenda out of touch with the mainstream of society.
If we want a 3rd party to challenge the other two, they need to be independent, fiscally conservative, strongly constitutional, non partisan, and socially moderate.
I totally disagree. We DON'T need a Republican Party on steroids.
We need a really progressive party. Democrats are too much conservative.
You are talking about being fiscally irresponsible and most people aren't. Most Americans believe in being responsible more than just socially.
Do you want to talk about "fiscal responsibility"?
So, let's talk about the tax money wasted with wars, with the CIA, NSA, and the military complex, and with bank bailouts.
It's not a matter of "fiscally responsible" or "fiscally irresponsible", it's a matter of PRIORITIES.
Nobody with a sane mind is in favor of endless deficits. The deficit should be contained. The question is: HOW? Here comes the matter of the priorities. What the priorities should be? Wars? CIA? Bank bailouts? Tax breaks for the rich? I don't think so...
I am fully in support of taking care of the most needy people in society and have even proposed legislation multiple times to prioritize spending. There are vital necessities of society that should be mandatory spending, and then there are all others. I do not support the GOP because they are just as fiscally irresponsible as the left. Progressive ideology however has not been the ideal of fiscal responsibility and as such anyone who is fiscally responsible, is technically fiscally conservative. You would have to be an idiot not to be fiscally conservative.
