Shit storm of derision?

Wind pretend I didn't stop in to make this statement, reply to it or not. Because I am going back to bed right after I make this next statement, which may very well touch off a shit storm of derision.

Now take this into consideration up-front. This will sound like the wildest flight of science fiction or fantasy,

But if it gets the Corrupt/Greedy to piss their pants or stay up sleepless at night considering the possibilities, then I consider it a worthwhile endeavor.

Here goes:

What if Obama has not betrayed the people? What if he is playing an unbelievably sneaky game instead? What (?) you will dare say shout in unbelief!

Well . . . consider that the Justice department has not filed charges of fraud upon the guilty. Perhaps Obama could not get them to do it.

So instead, playing a very sneaky game of misdirection.

Just suppose the Obama dragged out this NDAA thing on purpose.

Why in heaven's sake why?

Well what if in doing so he suckered the guilty?

What if now!!! He turned around and used it to arrest the guilty that he couldn't get the Justice Department to Legally charge?

I Know I know. Pure Fantasy, Pure Science Fiction. A poor remake of the Sting.

But. . . what if?

If Obama uses NDAA to arrest the bankers, scammers, fraudsters, etc. He would sweep the election next time, heck, we might even make him King.

If Obama chooses to exercise the newly codified powers listed in the AUMF authorization included in the NDAA as a "nuclear option" to force major reform by disappearing some of the worst offenders involved in foreclosure fraud, securities fraud, flat-out embezzlement, and similar crimes (Jon Corzine's name should be at the top of any such list-what better way to regain lost credibility?) then I would have a far greater trust in the willingness of this administration to do what is necessary to fix the nation.

The only problem with this scenario is that I can't see him doing that anymore than I can see him rounding up Occupiers or dissidents and tossing them in the FEMA camps that I've been hearing so much about recently. Most likely the AUMF will either not be fully exercised at all or it will be used in a very limited fashion to deal with those cases in which the prior administration captured terrorists, tortured them for information, and in doing so pooched their shot at trying the aforementioned terrorists.

The thought had crossed my mind, but then like you point out, we are not in a movie and things don't work out so perfect.

It is a fun flight of fancy though.

Just think in one fell swoop round up the Economic criminals.

Round up the corrupt/greedy supporters in government. Wouldn't even need to charge em with aiding and abetting.

Round up the corrupt in the Justice Department. No need to charge them with giving shelter to Domestic Terrorists.

It is a beautiful fantasy. Eh?

Have fun snuggling your Obama doll. He is just as guilty as Wall Street. Look at his advisers/cabinet. All big money wall street folks. If anyone here thinks that BO is looking out for them, I feel sorry for you.

Loose the alphabet's of war.

What if those who are in charge of enforcing the NDAA. Decided to interpret it as a go ahead to imprison the Greedy/Corrupt of Government and Business?

Onward NSA, CIA, FBI, SEC, FCC, HSA etc. etc.
