What if he ran as a 3rd Party? What if he started his own?
How many people could he pull away from the Dem party and start something that was clean, uncorrupted and fresh? With new ideas and new people?
How many would he have to pluck for it to be considered a success?
Many independents were upset that Ron Paul didn't do that in 2012. They felt that while it would not lead to an automatic victory, it would set the wheels in motion that would be unstoppable.
If Bernie declared the two corporate parties beyond saving and its time for people to form something of their own, and he formed the People's Party (whatev, just a name), would the wheels he set in motion be the beginning of something?
Or would he be looked at as a pariah, crucified for trying to do something new?
My guess is its the former, not the later. My other guess is that he understands where the public is right now better than we do, and he understands that as of right now the people aren't disgusted enough yet to really get involved and start creating their own options.
