From what I can see, it has helped spread a global wave of pro-democratic uprising, using peaceful methods instead of governmental militaristic force. Nationally, it has changed the political focus to the increasing wealth gap between the rich and poor, helped bring people awareness of the role of the banking entities in the 2008 global recession, and given many people hope for the future of our country. Concretely, it helped bring about two proposals for constitutional amendments limiting the power of money in politics, see the OCCUPIED amendment and the Saving American Democracy amendment.
Also, it helped promote and give success to the Nov. 5 bank transfer day, after which credit unions recorded billions of dollars in extra deposits, something which has helped keep that money circulating locally.

Using google advanced search and plugging in "occupy ows cointelpro", I get the following and everyone the shit is deleted from the OWS server and the google cache, most these posts are only hours old,... not bad, ... OWS has enormous power over google.com
Why is OWS terrified of a debate about them being a COINTELPRO operation, it seems to be common acknowledge outside of their closed world.

Well the most fascinating thing that CANVAS has done is that any mention on GOOGLE about "occupy ows fbi honey-pots" has been completely removed from the google cache and all OWS servers.
That in itself is impressive in my mind, never have I seen a google cache completely disappear, that was the whole point of the cache to keep a copy... But now its clear that OWS has told google to clear its content caches of OWS material, so if you write something that OWS censors don't like in 24 hours it take disappear 100% like it never existed.
Fascinating, troubling and all powerful is OWS/FBI/CIA/NSA, ...
OWS PROTESTS ARE FAKE
COINTELPRO fake protests partner with MEDIA to distract from real protests. I believe the Greek protest is genuine. OCCUPY WALL STREET was timed to drown out the Greeks.
I think this because the Greeks had a specific demand last month in direct response to their government's sellout to the IMF. The Greek protest was saying 'Don't vote to accept this debt, traitors!'The "Occupy Wall Street" type protest is NON SPECIFIC.
CONINTELPRO handled protests don't make demands - they make 'statements'. Like, "STOP WAR! LEGALIZE POT! "Give us back our future!" and "Stop pollution!"

Plenty. The Occupy Movement is worldwide, and has come to the attention of many millions of people. We are bringng forwards issues which resonate with people. Some are disheartened by being hurt badly by the banks. We are fighting their fight. It is only just starting. The Occupy Movement may or may not succeed. However, there will be subsequent actions, whatever they are called to carry on the fight. Wikileaks is not the force it was. However, the Occupy Movement would probably not have been as strong, had wikileaks not made the pathfinding effort.

Yes, but it would be useful to bring those people over here and end the OWS hypocrisy. This forum is only about re-electing OBAMA in 2012, and anybody who points that out is deleted. You have to wonder what kind of leaders we have when nothing is tolerated accept insults, pornography and idiocy.
