Forum Post: What did you do for your "Green Friday?"

I just wanted to get away from the commercialism of this time during the holidays. I picked apples in my mini orchard and tended my compost pile. You??? Do anything uplifting??? Do anything to help yourselves or your MORE IMPORTANTLY your fellow man?
I did not drive.
I picked up fig leaves off the ground that had covered my artichoke plants. I checked my tomato plants that are still growing. I checked for oranges that the squirrel picks for me and drops on the ground.
(Or the squirrel is storing them and I'm stealing my fruit back, haven't figured it out yet.
