I have often wondered , do bullies become CEO's ? or car salesman ? where do bullies end up? what psychological makeup do they have that is best suited for what profession ?they have no empathy , and they take pleasure in someone suffering .. seems like a salesperson searching for the highest profit would have a calling for bullies ..or what?

Childhood bullying has long been tied to anti-social behavior in adults.

Sociopaths are predators.

I'll leave you to make the occupational connections.

Whatever career that they get by virtue of family relations. Nobody else is going to put up with them.

Brian Fletcher whose dad owned San Diego Federal Credit Union, and Fletcher Parkway Fun Center in El Cajon was a terrible bully all while I was growing up. Just in case anyone cared.

Bullies would not do well as CEOs or car salesman. They probably end up working a janitors or construction workers.

Salesman need to be friendly. They need to know how to make people feel good about making a purchase.

Most CEOs are geeks. Same with CFOs, CIOs, CTOs... They are also most often workaholics and spend all their time focusing on work.

That's simple, cops.

Cops are the same deformed personalities the world over. It was Czech cops who bludgeoned their own countrymen to restore order when the Russian tanks rolled in. It was Iraqi cops who tortured the shoe thrower who embarrassed Bush. Etc.

Worms side with power, period.

This is why they have militarized the cops -- they don't trust the military, but they know the cops will follow orders.

I do not necessarily think they "militarized" the cops. I think what happened was, they funded the hell out of 'em. After 911 anyone connected with emergency management got funding up the wazoo. It was a serious problem - many agencies bought equipment that they had no idea how to use or maintain.
