What are we learning from OWS? This movement has been shaped by social technology but what are we actually learning from reading the forums, the tweets, the status updates? Do you think the information conveyed via these ways is accurate and coherent? Is this a good way to learn?

What do you think? Share your thoughts....

For some reason I can't take the survey. But I'm learning that just because someones opinion is sound does not mean that they are a respectable person. Many of the OWS protestors are quite rude in their interactions with others and this is discouraging. Bickering runs amok on this website.

But, despite all this, real knowledge is being spread, and a day doesn't go by that I don't learn something new about our country and the economic system we participate in.

Thanks Harry...I agree, I think in the age of social media, limits on character counts etc, it's hard. There is a lot of information out there, but how do we know it's accurate and correct? Or is it just someones opinion.

It's part of the progression. I like the wiki idea too because it's more structured and searchable. http://occupythiswiki.org/wiki/Main_Page
