When the subject of points was brought up last week or ? I sort of wondered about them. Having not found or cared to ask since that time found that it must not matter after all. If these points I now see reflect upon calling names and belittling others to receive then they are not for me and would I then try to not get them? Are they bad when they add up? That is hard to make sense because people were complaining about being lowered in points. So I suppose I am asking after all just to make sense of some sort of objective here or to decide in my having anything to say at all. Should I need go then with what parting summary would I depart or dig in my heels with all I am for thus far it is tiny tiny thing thus far. Oh the more It is my life given and it will be somewhere actually that is everywhere. Can anybody help me to be Nobody so as to Everyone being Somebody for I am WE...

Actually, we are all engaged in a virtual dart game. You should be receiving your gear in the mail within a few days. Every time a shill shows up then we throw darts. This is where the points come in. Every once in awhile a shill hijacks the game and, thus, the points.

When you look at IDs like Shayneh that are negative-it simply means that Shayneh needs to duck quicker.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go bang my head against a brick wall.

The point referred to are shown as a number in parentheses after your screen name. You get one point for every comment you make. below any comment you'll see ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply permalink. If someone clicks on twinkle you gain a point, stinkle takes one away. Apparently someone is picking on people and taking away points from them.

As a rule of thumb a lot of points and you can assume the person has been here a while and their thoughts line up with the majority on the forum. Negative points usually indicate someone that has a more conservative political view point.

Points are coveted and are extremely important to the forum stalwarts. They live and die by their point counts, revealing how petty and small most of them really are.

The points (called karma) were created in order to organize forum posters into an hierarchy. Points over 10,000 indicate a forum addiction. Points in the vicinity of 5,000 indicate a respected user. Points below 1,000 indicate a newbie. Most users work in groups and up vote each other while they down vote their "enemies". They do this without reading posts. Finally, points are considered more important than good arguments.
