Forum Post: What about the oath sworn MILITARY VETERANS

What about the oath sworn MILITARY VETERANS that are forming another site like this one made to gather the ex-military together in order to uphold their oath and protect the country they fight for? I logged into that site too and I think they will give us hell, Tear gas, pepper spray, and what the hell is mustard gas? Can they really get this stuff?
The protesters in Tahrir had to deal with the same thing from Mubarak's thugs. We'll be there and we'll be ready for the 'oathkeepers'.
Oathkeepers, if you're reading this, ask yourself one simple question: You swore an oath to your country. What does that mean? What is your country? Is Wall Street your country? Is the richest 1% of Americans your country? Is inequality, systemic torture, institutionalized greed your country? Or are the PEOPLE of this nation, the 99% of us struggling to get by, your country?
Look at the way vets are treated by the government and ask yourself again what you really stand for.
we oathkeepers already know this. the sites your looking at are what we whould call " Agents provocateur" and do not represent the tenants of the organization.

I have read on both sites for aobut 5 days now, you all are stressing peacef;ul protests and I dont think this will work so well for you all cause they on their site say they intend on infiltrating you all and starting intentional problems. some ideas are tear gas grenades in the night, they intend on starting fires around you all and make it look like you are doing it, they also are negotiating starting fights in the streets just to get the police to intervene??? IDK LOL I wont be on either side as it is now.... but sounds like you all are going to have fun lol
don't know what sites you have looked at but no oathkeeper i know is going to do this. we suport protests against wall street/corp./gov.
It's incredible to hear people want to be led by their "pied pipers" to work against their own interest. Who actually defends Wall Street?
I am a vet too. I was air force from 2000 to 2004. I am just letting you all know lol cause I am not going to be either place. But you all know that you will have opposing forces there besides the police and the usuals lol.
Others seem to think you all are trying to shut down the govt and economy. they dont agree with you and plan to cause problems for you to shut down your protests.

There is a site for gathering Anti-Protests of newyork and "The Whitehouse!?!?!?" I didnt have a clue about whitehouse until they linked it and the date of 11 - 11 on the military site.
So these people are protesting on the white house too? really?

Many military vets are with you. Don't buy into the lies or the trolls.
Glad to hear it, we have nothing but respect for them and we are angry about the shameful way military vets are treated in this country.
