Who cares how many people show up to a rally in Oakland? The Oakland/ Berkeley area is already about as progressive as you can get - marching is a more popular pasttime than baseball out there.

You're not fooling anybody other than yourselves.
Take a look at photos of real 100K crowds and it will be obvious that this wasn't near that. Even something like the Marine Corps Marathon held here recently was only about 20K and it dwarfs what's in that vid.

Not even close to 100,000. More like 5,000 or 6,000 as reported (if that).
In this case it's easy to estimate since they're all packed into an linear area and relatively evenly distributed. Stop the vid. Do an approimate count for the number of people within about an inch-equivalent. Extend that back by counting the number of inch-equivalents through the length of the crowd. You'll see that the 5K or 6K-ish estimate is about right. Although you can't see how far the tails extend at either end, this vid sure doesn't show anywhere near 100K. Sorry.
