This is why we need to get rid of all incumbents, no matter the party. We have senators and representatives in power for decades, making laws that benefit them while screwing the rest of us. They created the subprime market (Community Reinvestment Act) and then profited from it, they repealed GlassSteagle and then profited from that while also profiting from insider trading from their new best friends, the investment banks. They keep voting themselves pay raises while the rest of us suffer and furthering the agendas of Wall Street to deepen their pockets.

Wake up people. We need to contact those in our districts and state running for re-election and running for the first time. Push them to stand for reinstating Glass Steagle. It's a start and has support from reps and dems. Make it an issue in this election with your representatives. If they won't take a vocal stand, vote them out and keep voting them out. This is how we get this started. We have to make this an issue that resonates with all voters in all districts and states. Then, we stay on them to make sure to fix the rest of the mess they started, one issue at a time. You have to start with the legislature. They make the laws. And you have to start with one clear concise issue and message and then move on to others.

Even now, with things at a tipping point, NFL stadium attendance numbers are dwarfing town hall numbers.

The power is in the people,
