Indeed, Missy. It seems that capitalists only wanted capitalism so long as it made them rich. The second it did it's second job (after its first, which is to reward people for providing useful services to mankind), they ran from it. It's second job is punish those who make bad economic decisions. It does that through things like bankruptcy. As soon as capitalism brought about its negative response to bad behavior, the biggest capitalists in our society all fled to socialism. Yes, they chose to socialize the cost of their failures upon the backs of all citizens.
