We keep our constitutional right to rebel against the government when the corrupt few become tyrants and turn American people into their servants. We will fight for our right to meritocracy, social and political equality, and to prosperity. We will not let the system enslave us when the chicken comes home to roost. Everybody in this country deserves dignity and respect, we will prosper when we treat each other with respect and recognize people's right to liberty, equality and pursuit of happiness. We will never become servants of the ruling class, we will become equals in society, in politics, and in opportunity!

OWS Political equality = equally none to all under a communist system.

this makes a little more sense. If you leave wealth redistribution out of the picture, what would be your starting point for implementing your ideas?

I guess you missed the news -

the starting point already happened. We Occupied Wall Street.

You are a leaderless laughing stock taken over by the criminal and the homeless. I am sorry. I have been reading this site for several weeks and some of you have good ideas. The problem is that your voice is diluted. We do not see people speaking with sense and purpose. We see squalid campgrounds and battles with police. Go home and start community groups and perhaps enter the public and political forum.

that actually began weeks ago - don't worry. What you are experiencing is just a bit of cognitive dissonance, it's nothing.

you'll get past it.

We owe our existence to all life forms which occupied this planet for millions of years. Imagine the suffering and pain of past and present life forms which make life possible for us. Imagine the harassment, punishment and exploitation slaves went through for thousands of years. We owe our existence to other human beings. We owe them our lives. At one point in time and place anybody can find himself in any condition, nobody deserves to be politically more powerful than others and nobody deserves more wealth unless he contributes to the Earth accordingly and has the consent of others for his wealth. Only way to avoid coming future of U.S. where few rules and enslaves others, and establishes their police state and security state is to make people politically and socially equal right now by redistributing to provide equality of opportunity, education, health to people so they can go build things and prosper. China has already had too many genius people, how can you deal with that if you don't spread quality education, safety, and safe shelter around to the country. Many people can't get even quality in their education!

Another idea. Unfortunately, not particularly good. Keep bringing up wealth redistribution and you know what will happen (with my bullets) As for China, the country has a large number of smart, ingenious people. How many hundreds of millions live in poverty and how many minority groups are actively persecuted? China is not a good example for world living.

We couldn't stop corrupt people rob the American people. Wealth redistribution through taxation to keep the promise of liberty, equality and pursuit of happiness and equal opportunity in still on the table. Save your bullets for yourself!

Wealth redistribution through taxation is still robbery. If we go back to a simple tax code with the same percentage for all wage earners and combine that with smaller, smarter government, then we will have something to work with.

I understand your "I earned it, it is mine" approach, and I also believe it is correct for many people for many situations, but the underlying theory is wrong, because you can not have a chunk of this world without consent of others or giving back to people. You can not built mansions which will give you political power at the end. You can have investment money, but your consumption should be limited because if you can consume more you can buy and corrupt people. If 1% has half the wealth, and 0.1% has the quarter of the wealth, it indicates something is fundamentally wrong, they stole it, redistribution did not work, people have no money to buy the goods they produce, economy is collapsing, few own the country, many have no equality of opportunity, people can not prosper due to lack of education and health care...etc. Robbery is few has it all, and enslave the rest. That is the robbery.
