Obama is the only president who can get us out of this mess. We need to spread awareness by combining our signs with OBAMA 2012 signs to get the word out that America needs another 4 years!

You can get signs here: http://store.barackobama.com/signs.html

The money will go to his campaign fund. Our goal is to raise $1 billion.

You can also just write your own for free. We would prefer "VOTE OBAMA 2012" or "OBAMA FOR CHANGE 2012" or a similar message.

Lets get this rolling

Obama and the other democrats and the republicans have all been bought and sold. Wall street owns them they nothing more then assets.

the people know it no matter how much you try to co-opt us you wont succeed. You cant fight against freedom, justice and a true democracy no matter how much you try.

Why whould we want to show support to Obama. Didn't we try that last time? Though, in all honesty, i supported Ron Paul.

How would playing into the same system solve anything?

But Obama Receives money from Wall Street.

OWS is not about Obama, Paul, Cain, or any of the other probable 34+ candidates for president. OWS is about ethics in business and government and a search for a way out of the global financial mess that all of us--around the world--are in.

NO!!!!! If he creates 8 million jobs in the next six months I might change my mind, but the answer is no!!!!!!!

The protests are more disappointed with Obama then we are with Republicans..

At least Republicans promised to be shills for corporate america..

Obama promised not to be and has failed. He has approximately a year to prove himself or you bet your ass we will not go to the voting booths.

Endorsing any candidate is not in favor of the 99%.

[-] 1 points by number2 (914) 12 years ago

99% of democrats or 99% of the people?

[-] 1 points by gerryb (37) 12 years ago

No thanks. If anyone, I'll be voting for Ron Paul

I don't see why people blame everything that wrong on Obama. The problems that we are dealing with have been 30 years in the making. They really have gotten worse from 2000 to 2008. The president in this system of government only has a certain amount of power. even if his party has the majority in both houses, in the senate the minority has the filibuster and can stop legislation.

Obama had two roads to go down after he was elected..unfortunately he choose the road More Often Traveled and kept the Wall Street Hooligans on board...this was not a minor glitch and has proven to be the direction this President has made, time and time again...Fuck Obama!

[-] 1 points by gerryb (37) 12 years ago

That's a cop out, really. As commander in chief of the Executive branch, the President has a lot of power. Stop the Patriot Act, bring the troops home, immediately(like he explicitly promised http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p12cAclNCRU), stop federal enforcement of all the crap laws like federal raids on small farmers or medical marijuana dispensaries, etc.

Obama is the one that created this mess. What...the $1,000,000,000,000 that he spent on failed pet projects is somehow exempt from your disgust for wealth? Or was it his expensive Columbia law degree? Or his $1,000,000,000 campaign warchest? To think that a politician asks people to contribute to a campaign fund that already has that much money, in this kind of economy, in this kind of unemployment, shows that he doesn't care about you, or anyone else. But you're willing to spend money on HIM, no matter how much, huh? "OBAMA FOR CHANGE 2012?" Aren't we still waiting for the "change" he promised in 2008? How many chances will you give him? Oh wait, a Marxist will give a Marxist politician all the chances that they want!

[-] 1 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 12 years ago

It's not because he's marxist; it's because he represents hope for these people. They're just desperate. Anyways, OWS doesn't support Obama, or any corporate asset.
