Damn why didn't I think of that?
The tea people (they are not a party, but labeling them as such was a very clever way to make them feel empowered and independent, while keeping them in the power structure) was a single issue group, focused on spending.
After their first big sweep to power, over half of them immediately voted to increase spending.
This machine knows one way forward.
What have you got against spending?
