Forum Post: We need moderators here

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

This forum needs a lot of work, far two many people on here who hate this movement I don't come here to hear from them they should be removed. Their opinions are irrelevant the only way you could hate this movement is by being completely ignorant to what is going on in the world. We don’t need ignorant people in here voicing their uninformed opinions. The ignorant have a place, and there place is to read and learn not to trouble everyone with there uninformed opinions. The corporate media already provides a voice for the ignorant OWS should not be providing this forum as another.

It is important that the ignorant and hateful remarks from people pretending to be part of the movement stay. How else will the biased media be able to report "After an extensive review of comments on the official OWS forum, we found numerous anti-Semitic, bigoted, anti-capitalist, anti-patriotic, and hateful remarks being made. Sounds like, to me, that this movement is just too far out of touch with mainstream America. Now lets get back to that breaking story of how those patriotic firefighters are in the process of rescuing fluffy from that tree."

I agree with Jeff. This place has stopped being productive because it is so rife with trolls.

How can it be productive when it has no authority and invokes none? Demands are not a reason for government to do anything, nor anyone else. The movement has failed to use law and therefore does not have the authority of law. ------

The law the movement needs to invoke is Article 5 of the constitution, our first constitutional right. Why? Congress is very afraid of an Article 5 of the US constitution.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convention_to_propose_amendments_to_the_United_States_Constitution "Congress acted preemptively to propose the amendments instead. At least four amendments (the Seventeenth, Twenty-First, Twenty-Second, and Twenty-Fifth Amendments) have been identified as being proposed by Congress at least partly in response to the threat of an Article V convention."

Our first right in our contract is Article V, the right to have congress convene delgates when 2/3 of the states have applied for an amendatory convention.

Article. V.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.-------

Yes ignorant hateful remarks should be moderated

It needs a lot more than moderators, although that would be nice. How about some organizations, maybe by subject. Haters are okay, but lets at least stick to some similar subject matter.

The new OWS site for us to work on issues is: TheMultitude.org -
This is a place where we can discuss issues and come figure out solutions.

Bump to the next person.

I would still browse this forum, too. Just for the sake of responding to things that pertain to certain interests.

The idea of the banks recovering the loss thru selling the property is, at this time, ludicrous

Idea: Banks should be required to ' Suspend' payments and interest accumulation if a person loses their job during an 'economic downturn' until that person finds a comparable paying job or until the national unemployment rate is less than 5%.

this only changes who owns the money

Jeff, don't be a cocksucker like the trolls. Don't let them get you down. Pick your dick up off the ground.

Don't be a cocksucker? do you have a problem with gay rights?

[-] 0 points by Richardgates (133) 12 years ago

Sorry Jeff, help me get these trolls. The Artist Wanted post has me pissed!

Assumes you have all the truth and anyone who disagrees with you is "ignorant". This is how you get the world we have when we only listen to one side of any discussion. Discussions are good, especially when they have different points of view. It is only the "ignorant" who aren't willing to listen to all sides of an argument.

So many people on here react to being called ignorant very strongly it's really no big deal it's like having a cold you can cure it. Just because your ignorant today doesn't mean you have to stay that way. I'll even offer you some easy to watch documentaries to help you wise up. You've probably seen some of them and of course just watching 33 documentaries won't bring you up to informed status but it's a start. Born Rich, Breaking the Bank, College Inc, I want your Money, Inside The meltdown, IOUSA, Maxed Out, Mind Over Money, Money Masters, Speaking Freely, Ten Trillion and Counting, The American Ruling Class, The Best Government Money Can Buy, The Big One, The Card Game, The Corporation, The Madoff Affair, The Warning, Trading on Thin Air, After Innocence, An Inconvenient tax, An Unreasonable Man, Burzynski, Business of Being Born, Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington anymore, Casino Jack, Electile Dysfunction, Flow, Freedom Fries, Homo Toxicus, Ken Burns America the Congress, The American drug War, XXI Century, I would be interested in your thoughts on the ones you have seen.
