Given that Socialism seems to have become a dirty word, let's put it this way: What we need is Rational Capitalism, not Greedy Capitalism. But we must get organized and do it at the ballot box. Occupy Wall Street is a great start but it can't end there!

elections are the problem. elections require candidates to LIE or LOSE.
sortition, where representatives are randomly selected as with jury duty, would be better than elections.
We need to get MONEY out of politics. That is, PRIVATE money. Elections must be socialized, with PUBLIC FUNDING.
1 simple goal has the potential of solving many of these problem! fire the house of representatives and replace with electronic voting! we the people could then decide all the issues! larry
