and the best part - even if the "ban" is passed -
it will let us legally own every AR15 we legally now own!
it does not ban ownership!
it only bans manufacture & sale!

[-] -2 points by Nevadaone (-55) 11 years ago

Still beating that same ole' tired lame, flawed and insignificant horse?

[-] 3 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

You are not in favor of converting your AR15 into fully automatic?

[-] 0 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

I don’t own a AR-15, or any semi-auto rifle anymore. Just not interested in AR’s or AK’s. However, I have fired a bump-fire AR. I didn’t like it. Firing one is not as easy as the video suggests. You have to hold it just right for it to function properly. If you’re using a scope it’s hard to keep the rifle low enough to use the scope.

Bottom line, bump fire stocks are a novelty; and not very popular. Even if I owned an AR I wouldn’t want one. Semi-auto is the preferred firing method anyway. Much easier to control than spray and pray full auto rifles.

Banning the manufacture and sale of a legal and widely popular firearm for nothing other then propaganda, fear mongering is wrong.

You know it also,it just so happens that banning and confiscation are what you believe in and of course you're a Democrat propagandist and cheerleader.

You're a pro Government advocate and are only doing what you get paid for.

[-] 1 points by HCabret (-327) 11 years ago

Anyone who supports the 2nd amendment is pro American, anyone who supports it's repeal is pro freedom.

Which is it?

[-] 1 points by HCabret (-327) 11 years ago

Support universal gun abolition and voluntary destruction of weapons.

Shame on gun owners.

[-] 2 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

That's a little extreme, maybe just a real effort to keep guns from criminals

[-] 1 points by HCabret (-327) 11 years ago

All gun owners are criminals in my opinion.

[-] 2 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

Nope. vast majority are not criminals,

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 11 years ago

you are a pompous idiot
if you think you are smart enough to know what I believe in

[-] -2 points by TheBlackSun (-32) 11 years ago

Truth hurts.

[+] -6 points by Nevadaone (-55) 11 years ago

You've been called out and now you're trying to back peddle. Why don't you just have the balls to admit what you really are instead of hiding behind this charade.

dont flushit!
your courage knows no bouunds - attacking me with lies
Did you learn that from faux? or rove?
why dont you use what is left of your brain to address the AR15 issue.
Or did you flushit it already?

[+] -5 points by TheBlackSun (-32) 11 years ago

You are wasting your time. Anyone with a brain has known these regulars are shills for the DNC since the beginning. Bt they think they are so slick they' ll never be exposed. Shows they aren't nearly as smart as they think they are.

[-] 0 points by Nevadaone (-55) 11 years ago

No shit, but half the fun is their replies.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

You are a gun industry monkey whore! Your industry kills people! Your shameful treason is nauseating! If you don't like humanity and democracy, go to Somalia, you zombie traitor! Get! Go! Be gone! Don't write!

Guns are the next cigarettes! Tomorrow's history! NO GUNNING!!

[-] -3 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

Your industry kills people too. Maybe you forget about the wars from the people YOU have voted for and support. The democrats and republicans have voted for wars that have killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.

You are hypocrite.

You cheer Obama saying "ban guns" as Obama's administration is arming child soldiers with assault rifles in foreign countries.

You're all hypocrites on this issue.

the gun debate is a phony. None of you grasp the reality on this issue and it's being used to distract, divide, and conquer.

[-] 4 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Oh, blow your nose somewhere else. You anarchists killed OWS!!

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

You work for RepubliCons, who work against the 99%!

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

You got Trev's number. He was pushing some anti Occupy, right wing, banking lobby propaganda until he finally got caught by VQkag2.

http://occupywallst.org/forum/new-year-prediction/#comment-905717

That is why he hates VQkag2 so much.

He tries to say the right things ut he usually reverts to his main job, Bashing Pres Obama & Dems.

Good job seeing through his charade.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

You are VQ

You are also a multitude of other accounts on this forum.

You talk to yourself and spend your time downvoting people with all of your accounts.

I never pushed anything anti-occupy. I just said the 2 party system is trying to corrupt occupy.

And yes I openly do not like the president. He is corrupt and like Bush sold us out to Goldman Sachs.

Is giving billions of taxpayer dollars to Goldman Sachs corrupt?

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

You distract from the issue with nonsensical, meaningless ,account news, & unfounded voting accusations..

I AM inclusionman!! Can you read?? VQ is not an account. VQkag2 is a defunct account!!! I am not anyone but the account I am using.

I am not voting anyone down unfairly. & I do not talk to myself.

That is just your pathetic, desperate attempt to discredit me and distract from the truth.

But you did push the anti Occupy, right wing, banking lobby propaganda.

That much is true. You did apologize and say you were mistaken so this new denial just compounds your dishonesty.

[-] -2 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

Is giving billions of taxpayer dollars to Goldman Sachs corrupt?

like I said before, if I actually gave a fuck about you linking to that comment, I would have deleted it.

YOU ARE VQKAG2 and a bunch of other accounts on this forum. You use those accounts to bump your threads and harass other people.

[-] 2 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

You push anti Occupy, right wing, banking lobby propaganda.

I don't harass anyone. I spend my time here posting real information, occupy events, and action items that will benefit the 99%.

Voting, bumping, multiple accts are your hangup. Mine is the fight against your rw corp 1% oligarchs.

[-] -1 points by gsw (3410) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 11 years ago

What exactly are you arguing about. Your supposed link showed nothing.

And why are you involving yourself in this that wasn't involving you.

You really go overboard,

Soon you wont be inclusionman or repbsrproblem, if you keep going on....

Trevor is anti vq, duopoly shill illogical bs. period.

I wonder how you get high points here

Leopards don't change their spots.

You might be more at home in the Obama grassroots movement.

[-] 0 points by Narley (272) 11 years ago

This is a pointless argument. The assault weapons ban isn’t going to pass. Nor will federal level magazine capacity restrictions. Congress is not passing ANY new gun restrictions except maybe background checks. And that’s still undecided.

Gun legislations has moved to the State level. Three states have passed some type more restrictive gun laws (California, Colorado and New York). About a dozen other States are trying to pass legislation to get around any new federal gun laws. Texas is trying to pass a law making it illegal to enforce any new gun restrictions.

Basically it’s going to be a mish-mash of different gun laws from State to State. If you’re keeping score on the gun issues, the gun owners are winning.

[-] -1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

The points system needs to go.

I wonder if he'd still demonstrate his multiple personality disorder, if there was no points to play with.

[-] 0 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

Of course he would. He'd still shamelessly bump his own posts, and use multiple usernames to talk to himself, giving a casual observer the illusion he actually has some kind of support.

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

From below (ran out of replies) Yeah, you're right about NPD. All the classic symptoms. Why anyone would spend their off-time going thru old posts to upvote themselves and downvote those they don't like is truly boggling.(end quote)

It's a psyche disorder like no other. The toughest part is convincing them they have a problem. Where VQ is lucky is, his condition is being played out in a public arena, and various elements of the problem are clearly documented.

All there is to do now, is contact the admin, and track all his user accounts through the IP addresses, and hand the situation over to some psyche assessors.

Hopefully there's something we can do for him. He's clearly communicative.

[-] 0 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

So you still hold out hope for the boy. You're obviously a good guy, Builder.

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

He's still dragging out old vq posts and upvoting them.

I'm thinking we get a few proper psychologists to check out this behaviour.

In all the years I've been on forums, I've never seen anything so bizarro.

[-] 1 points by gnomunny (6819) from St Louis, MO 11 years ago

Yeah, you're right about NPD. All the classic symptoms. Why anyone would spend their off-time going thru old posts to upvote themselves and downvote those they don't like is truly boggling.

[-] -3 points by vaprosvyeh (-400) 11 years ago

Of course he would. He can't help himself. :-)

[-] 0 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

(quote)Not sure if you meant vicious or viscous...but it works either way. LOL(unquote)

Yeah, I noticed that one, and decided it fit either way. heheheh.

[-] -1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

MPD and NPD are closely linked.

The naricissist takes over the dominant roles, and the others fear the narc, so they have to play along. It's what is commonly known in the velodrome as a viscous cycle.

[-] -2 points by vaprosvyeh (-400) 11 years ago

Not sure if you meant vicious or viscous...but it works either way. LOL

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Like Thom Hartman said, OWS was successful until the anarchists tied their hands. Who does it help? The Cons!

[-] 1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I think occupy has succeeded in waking up the progressive people/organization all over the country.

Anarchists, god bless their souls, are adorable, when they get organized they will have real influence on the issues. Maybe I should say 'IF' they get organized.

[-] 0 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Organized chaos.

[-] 2 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

Indeed.

[-] 0 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

what an idiotic response.

Classic propaganda from the 2 party system.

If you're not a democrat, you're a republican. If you're not a republican, you're a democrat. Fuck the 2 party system. and fuck your propaganda.

Later VQ.

[-] -1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

You work for RepubliCons, and you work against the 99%!

[-] -2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

BAM!!

[-] -1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 11 years ago

The 2 party system works against the 99%

as made obvious by TARP AUMF NDAA and never prosecuting or splitting up the banks that fund their campaigns.

Along with a smorgasbord of other bullshit.

These guys just don't get it. We've had majorities of both parties in government and both fail.

It's a corporate takeover.

[+] -5 points by Spring13 (-58) 11 years ago

The car industry kills people, the alchohal industry kills people, the baseball bat industry kills people, the knife industry kills people.

[-] 2 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Only guns and bombs massacre massive numbers of people is seconds.

Guns are the next cigarettes! Tomorrow's history! NO GUNNING!!

[+] -4 points by Spring13 (-58) 11 years ago

So the innocent should be punished for owning guns?

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

Just like safe drivers and pedestrians. Rules protect the innocent. People's lives trump gun hobbies.

[-] -2 points by Spring13 (-58) 11 years ago

Well if rules protect the innocent then how many people died last year in auto crashes.

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 11 years ago

If guns protect the innocent, why aren't we the safest country on the planet?

Do you think rules don't save lives? Do you think rules/laws are the reason innocent people get killed?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

6k teenagers are killed each year in autocrashes. If regulating things out of the marketplace is the solution, then why not start with the leading causes? Guns and cars themselves are fine, if used responsibly. What do you do about the irresponsible users?

Rapes are usually twice as high as murders, and with the amount of murders per year in this country (14k) that means that damn near 30k women were raped. And these are women reported it.

There is a chance that this nation, the people that make it up, have gone mad. That we are an increasingly mentally sick nation.

How do we create a more courteous, responsible nation? Can that even be legislated? What are our priorities?

[-] 1 points by Shule (2638) 11 years ago

I was in a vehicle accident a few years ago ( a car hit me while I was standing at a red light above my motorcycle.) After it was all said and done the insurance companies ended up giving me a lot of money. However, I was left wondering whether I was "paid" to compensate for my pain and anguish, or whether I was "paid off" to keep my mouth shut from saying autos on the road are incredibly dangerous (especially if you're in the street on a little motor bike.)

[-] 1 points by Theeighthpieceuv8 (-32) from Seven Sisters, Wales 11 years ago

They'll never ban the AR.
