We need an OCCUPY TappanZee Day...Occupyiers just stop their cars at 9AM. No traffic either way. Maybe January 23rd is a good day.! Do IT

This may be the only way to wake up Gov Cuomo and the US Transportation Dept.

It's one thing to inconvenience people that work on Wall Street or in a bank when those places are targeted. This action would disrupt thousands giving them hours to sit in their car and dwell on how OWS ruined their day.

To add mass transit would cost billions more and would delay the project for years.

How many people need to take mass transit over that bridge and why? The bridge spans a wide part of the river from South Nyack to Tarrytown both suburban towns with a small population. The nearest railroad is 10 miles away in Nanuet and that rail runs south to the city.

If the bridge was near Manhattan and Hoboken, Ft Lee or Staten Island I could understand the want to add mass transit.
