I hardly hear about us in the news anymore, and over here in Zuccotti Park it seems like the morale has went down drastically, and we still don't have any clear demands

Oh well, it was good while it lasted

[-] 1 points by Nicolas (258) from Québec, QC 13 years ago

We have not. We will not. We must not.

Sorry you lost faith.

[-] 1 points by UKbob (16) 13 years ago

Things only change when enough people say "NO" to the way it is, all the answers might not yet be worked out but there has to be a starting point, if you think you can change the world in 30days you are a fool.

Solidarity and perservearance will prevail.

Peace!

OWS is an underground movement against Wall St oligarchs. Look how desperately they try to propose other opponents than Wall St to OWS.

Obama, the police, the jews etc.

No, It's Wall St

[-] 1 points by libertarianincle (312) from Cleveland, OH 13 years ago

The fact that you fail to see the connection with our government will be the downfall of OWS.

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

Whose is the puppet master.

[-] 1 points by Yepper (277) 13 years ago

Geroge Soro's is the puppet master. Next question.

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

Soros is the good puppet master. He is just one of them.

[-] 1 points by Yepper (277) 13 years ago

Soros is the evil puppetmaster and controls the corrupt strings of Obama.

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

Some persons are too powerful, most use their power for bad things. When corporate media blames Soros that's because he is different.

We have to challenge the oligarchs like Putin did in Russia.

[-] 1 points by Yepper (277) 13 years ago

Soros highly invested in petrobras. Obama loand Petrobras BILLIONS for their oil and gas industry while denying ours here in America, This is the most corrupt administration ever.

Who has the power to change the law?

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

Doesn't matter. Take Norway as an example, a very small and modern democracy, but it is impossible for a leading politician to counter the oil industry and fishing.

The oligarchs have the means to control politics across the aisle. Step on their toe and set the government free. Within the political system real change is impossible. It doesn't matter which party governs. When you attack the democrats it benefits the republicans which are far more corrupted. Partisan politics is a mere deception in a plutocratic system.

[-] 1 points by libertarianincle (312) from Cleveland, OH 13 years ago

You are barking up the wrong tree if you are accusing me of partisan politics.

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

Decolonialisation follows a pattern to take control by the people but it led to cleptocratic regimes which were worse than the former colonial regimes.

Washington may be corrupted. Who corrupts it?

A nice aspect of Occupy WallSt: it is the first movement which mock-attacks the financial markets, the oligarchs and their ideology. Blames those who were bailed out.

Yes, OWS looks like ants from up there.

The Tea Party was easily taken over by Big Money, white trash was made to protest against taxes for the Rich, universal health care etc. Cui bono?

[-] 1 points by Yepper (277) 13 years ago

Giving this corrupt Government more money through higher taxes is insane. Jeff Immelt and GE got $126 MILLION stimulus dollars despite making over $6 BILLION profit and paying ZERO TAXES at the same time. BaROKE Obumbler's $852 STIMULUS bill to create JOBS and start SHOVEL READY PROJECTS turns out to be a SLUSH FUND FOR CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTORS LIKE SOLYNDRA, GE, JEFF DOERR and STEVE WESTLY, other DONORS, fictitious zip codes,etc.. Obumbler blew $852 BILLION, NOW HE WANTS $450 BILLION MORE---SHOW US THE MONEY, WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE $852 BILLION?? Criminals always return to scene of the crime, Obumbler's BACK TO STEAL MORE MONEY FROM TAXPAYERS! Millions went to foreign banks, $529 MILLION went to Finland to build hybrid cars, MILLIONS went to Hezbollah, MILLIONS TO CRONIES. The same type of CRONIES are on his JOBS BOARD! All we'll get from them is more LIES, DECEIT, FRAUD!

caps are harder to read, and make you look crazy.

[-] 1 points by libertarianincle (312) from Cleveland, OH 13 years ago

Agree wholeheartedly on the Tea Party. But OWS is not immune, both the Obama administration and the Unions have attempted, and are making ground, to co-opt OWS.

[-] 1 points by Blankass (24) from Brooklyn, NY 13 years ago

It is enough to focus and put more attention on the oligarchs. You do not have to beat them, you just have to turn them into a paria, confront them, challenge their ideology, expose their corruption. Financial oligarchs have to become the new tobacco.

It must be getting cold over there...

The unions have drowned you out

[-] 0 points by amanoftheland (452) from Boston, MA 13 years ago

yea, even the live feeds that were usually close to 1500 barley have 400 viewers. that what you get when you flounder around with out a chain of command and a way to get consensus. never mind circulating credible ideas... Just look at this post for instance its like an orphan for crying out loud..

[-] 0 points by Nitwit (2) 13 years ago

As soon as the fists and blah about revolution arrived you knew the "movement" was dead save for the burial. Most people want justice, real justice, not anarchist posturing no matter how well meaning they may be. The idea had the potential to make the Tea Party look ridiculous. Now its over. And a special thank you to every idiot who decided to wear a V for Vendetta mask. And especially to the band wagon jumper who came up with the idea in the first place. Twerp.

[-] -1 points by Sellerman (139) 13 years ago

What's with all the hating of Jews on this site??!!! Worst f-ing racists around are you freakin' hippie drop outs who want all my money that I worked for...and then you blame me because I'm Jewish. Go get a freakin' job of your own!!!

[-] 1 points by Rockyj (2) 13 years ago

Have you ever thought there will be paid shills & trolls here who will be do everything they can to try to break this movement up? Please go here instead: http://www.themultitude.org/forum/index.php

[-] 1 points by verita87 (140) 13 years ago

The OWS people aren't racist, the people who are trying to undermine it are.

[-] 1 points by Flsupport (578) 13 years ago

Correct

[-] 1 points by Glisteningshine (5) 13 years ago

Just curious, how is this post racist in any sense?

[-] -1 points by Sellerman (139) 13 years ago

I read the heading of this post and right below that was another anti-Jewish post...I was commenting on that. But really, OWS is thick with anti-Semites. Is this 1938 Berlin or 2011 NYC?
