Forum Post: We dump our dead soldiers remains in the trash

The Air Force dumped the incinerated partial remains of at least 274 American troops in a Virginia landfill, far more than the military had acknowledged, before halting the secretive practice three years ago, records show.

The landfill dumping was concealed from families who had authorized the military to dispose of the remains in a dignified and respectful manner, Air Force officials said. There are no plans, they said, to alert those families now.

-Shocking- (even in 2011) I thought this might turn out to be a joke when I saw the headline here on your thread.

good grief, Teamster... i would've felt much better if this had turned out to be a tasteless trollster post, full of insults. At least then mild disgust would've sufficed as I had exited your post.

But that has got to make somebody out there ill, and its still hard to believe even after reading the article. It makes you wonder how they must feel about us. consumers. I mean were not even called citizens anymore, right? Well these guys were theirs. their people. their family... so what are we. to them.

Even bin ladin (supposedly) got a burial at sea. But our american soldiers got this.

[-] 2 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

so its slips out how the gov feels about its soldiers? JUST TRASH! Will the soldiers come and search our houses and take our means of defending ourselves from tyranny some day soon? Soldiers reading this should consider TODAY if they ARE will take part in taking or freedoms by force or defending them from the globalists who are more tricky than most people?

WTF You know those army commercials there like this is your unifrom this is your saber this is your certificate etc. they should add this is your body being thrown into the land fill :( why they gotta do this to us?

[-] 1 points by ropeknot (359) 12 years ago

What happens to the empty cemetery plots , bought and paid for by us the tax paying citizens ?

[-] 1 points by Windsofchange (1044) 12 years ago

That is no way to treat dead heros. Our soldiers are heros.

This is beyond disgusting. Those involved in this disgraceful dumping of our soldiers partial remains need to be held accountable for this. They should not get away with this horrible act.

[-] 1 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

This wont even be big news. That's how messed up the media is.

[-] 1 points by Windsofchange (1044) 12 years ago

Yes, I know. Mainstream media is controlled and won't cover a story like this. This is why I get my news from alternate sources anymore.

[-] 1 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

I have see more reports on the news about houses that put up alot of christmas lights then this.

[-] 1 points by Windsofchange (1044) 12 years ago

Main stream media is a joke. Over the years, they have added a lot of "soft news" to their news programs. This is all to keep the masses dumbed down and pacified.

Everyone needs to wake up and get there news from alternate sources because corporate owned mainstream media will absolutely not tell you what is going on there. This media blackout on the NDAA bill is a prime example of that.

Prosecute those responsible! This is beyond disgraceful. I am a veteran, and have worked supporting the VA for the past two years. I have many friends who are vets. This is unacceptable and criminal.

9/11 was an inside job.

Hey, we LOVE the government. We want the government to controll and tell us what to do. Down with corporations and UP with the government we TRUST. Right?

Very important to get specifics on what definition of dignified and respectful is used. Unless there was a specific agreement on what 'dignified and respectful' meant ie:"Cremains to be incinerated at XYZ Mortuary and Crematorium, inurned temporarily in a recyclable container and scattered at sea or from the air with ceremonial meeting" believe it or not, a judge would rule the disposal was done in a lawful manner simply due to the lack of definition!

[-] 2 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

we don't need gov to tell us if something is dignified or not. Morals such as that come from religion. Gov hates religion I know, and wants it wiped out. And even then we don't need to be told that if someone dies to save us (in war) we need to respect his remains forever. Gov believes that people are expendable. Humans don't treat other humans like cattle, to be used by the rich but yet.... . Only evil filled beings would treat humans like that. Sub-humans. evil spirits, Do we allow such evil to rule us? you are blind open your eyes.

Even the company who picked up the boxes with the ashes to dump them are mad they were not told what it was. They say they never would of taken them.

[-] 1 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

good for them! Are we ruled by reptiles? who have no concept of love of others? God or compassion? but only greed? and self centeredly only satisfying only their own personal needs?

[-] 1 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

Even the trolls can't trash this story.

[-] 2 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

what kind of low life forms would be so heartless with the remains of a patriot? Are we dealing with humans as we used to know them? Where did the orders for this come from? how far up?

[-] 1 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

We will never find this out. Some nobody will take the blame. Its sick when you read the whole link about how long this went on.

[-] 2 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

We may never find out who ordered this. 2nd best we can stop it from ever happening again. And that is almost OK IF WE STOP this DISRESPECT from happening any more to any other group. We need to cover all this in our FOCUSED love if we are to really change anything. Focused hate will destroy us. Focused Love will help us. The fight is between love and hate, chose your side today.

Dumping my dog in a landfill is not dignified and respectful. Putting our deceased soldiers in landfill is disgusting and disrespectful.

[-] 0 points by HarryPairatestes2 (380) from Barrow, AK 12 years ago

Did they dump bodies at the landfill?

[-] 2 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

They dumped the ashes of the bodies in a landfill. Click the link.

[-] 0 points by HarryPairatestes2 (380) from Barrow, AK 12 years ago

What the article fails to mention is how much in ashes were sent to the landfill. Is it barrels full of ashes or a cup full since the ashes were of body parts not complete bodies.

Stupid nonetheless by the Air Force.

[-] 1 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

degree makes it OK? If I only dump 1/2 of your ashes in the toilet is that still dignity? water it down enough and it is OK?

I completely AGREE. Fricking contract law takes precedence over any verbal agreement- this is a harsh truth that I learned the hard way in business. I hate to know this truth but when it comes to agreeing with any service provider we live in a 'fine print world' that demands we get in writing agreements with clear definitions. :(

[-] 1 points by Teamster (102) 12 years ago

How sad is that. You have to get in writing please don't dump my child in a garbage landfill.

[-] 1 points by economicallydiscardedcitizen (761) 12 years ago

Extremely sad and saddest of all is that most youth who enlist fail to read every word of the contract that must be signed to join. When I was approached repeatedly by the Navy in high school following the ASVAB testing that I scored in the high 90's as a young lady my mom and I finally gave in to meeting with recruiters thinking well, maybe this could be a way to eliminate costs for medical school. After reading the whole contract I was scared to sign it for what it said and implied and told the recruiters that I'd submit to a draft before agreeing to the caprice in career, educational and life/death pathway that the language stated and preferred to tough it out on my own.

[-] 1 points by jjuussttmmee (607) 12 years ago

that will be the new order of things if we allow it. Will we allow it?
