"I support education of the voting public as to which politicians are working for the 99% and which are in the pockets of the 1%."

But like to hear all sides and make my own choice....

"Education about what the decision makers are doing...."

I like this idea as well and feel that the politicians are really pissed off because we have been paying attention for the past decade or so....They were much happier when nobody noticed what they were doing....

I support term limitations....You get elected to any position and you get 6 years...No mulligans....

because it is fun, and it inspires a hypnotic state of abject terror in those who oppose us.

Here, you try it. Put some energy, some real feeling into it:

-

Oh how I abhor

The Hordes of Lying Whores

Who Prowl the People's Halls of Power

Bearing Gifts in the name of Profit

What is "We speak truth to power"?

Best reply I have ever received on this forum:
Thanks for the education.
I actually learned something this morning.

speak truth to power

A phrase coined by the Quakers during in the mid-1950s. It was a call for the United States to stand firm against fascism and other forms of totalitarianism; it is a phrase that seems to unnerve political right, with reason.

The founders of United States risked their lives in order to speak truth to power, that of King George. It was and is considered courageous, although is more commonly scorned today.

Your welcome. In return, would you please show some love to the cause?

I love the cause (OWS).
I support education of the voting public as to which politicians are working for the 99% and which are in the pockets of the 1%.
Change can only happen within the system. That is unless you can pull off another revolution. And I don’t see that happening until there is 50% unemployment and the congress still need to go on a 2 month vacation.
Education about what the decision makers are doing for and to the America people and responsible voting (election and re-election) of our representatives is the key to making OWS work.
Has the camping exercise done anything to change the situation of the 99%?
Awareness is a good thing.
