Didn't feel welcomed there at all....made me feel very uncomfortable and isolated even though i support the cause....So my guess is that if you fit the image of the occupiers then you will be discriminated against.

Occupy should have a welcome committee maybe? Wear bright green shirts that says "welcome new people" or something?

Sorry it took to long...yes by occupiers...just trying to hear the message at the general assembly ...lots of rude bumping and coughing in my face and ugly stares and i am not a bad looking person, can't say thats all of LA occupiers but i sure felt unwelcomed..and almost got run over by a trash can they where setting up as a barricade.

After the police raid, it attracted the wrong attention. There's now more people there that want to cause trouble than help support a cause. It's always best to either go with a group, or get acquainted with a group of people.

that's frustrating ;( I've never been to occupy LA, but was in the city a few months ago and really enjoy the cultural diversity. hope things are better for you :)
