‎"Would you like to save the world from the degradation and destruction it seems destined for? Then step away from shallow mass movements and quietly go to work on your own self-awareness. If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation." - Lao Tzu

I was an I Banker on the Street. Got fed up. Now starting a new nation based on no degradation or destruction. Be self aware. Be bold. Then get busy.

Good evening, I wonder how many of those your movement desires to face actually have even turned ear to your voice?

I ask that question because what was taught to me, by my grandfather, is that if you truly "want" to get a man's attention, you punch him in his wallet.

This level of protest IS good. But, how far is the movement GOING TO GO? Understand, I am not speaking failure. I enjoy reading about the increase of the movement, yet I would wear a permanent smile when I read about congress presenting a bill based on the direct actions of the member of the movement. If your organizers would like to sit and discuss a few of the ideas I have, please contact at your earliest convience.

Thank you for your time reading. Continue to fight the good fight of faith.

What do you mean? Isn't camping in a public park punching corporations in the wallet?

[-] 1 points by yerbrovabrova (2) 12 years ago

If the corporations, and their holders of enormous wealth are only irritated by the sight of the camping tents, then my answer is, "No". Yet, I am not so prideful to think I have the ONLY SUCCESSFUL answer. I just know that greed IS the driving force on every state's 'Wall St.' Therefore, humble opposition that causes awarness will be the path, I think, to receiving the change desired.

You realize it's a lot harder to live by a principle and change yourself than it is to go marching around, camping in a public park, yelling slogans, right? Sounds a lot less fun.

Well, maybe we should step away from SHALLOW mass movements but I don't think we should step away from mass movements with potential to change people's lives. I think the individualistic approach of "awakening yourself" before working for social change ignores how much society affects us as individuals. Here's a quotation in return:

"It is in the shelter of each other that people live." -- Irish proverb

Freedom is only for those who think differently.

Just round up all the real evil people and put them in prison, start with Anonymous people and Wikileak people and about half of the Christians/Catholics and government people and don't forget the top bankers around the world.

What do bankers look like, the Wizard of Oz behind that curtain? You idiots always talk about bankers, but you never explain what they do, beyond vague accusations, of course. You don't even know what they do. Geez. Find something you know about to complain about, ok?

Have you heard of the Rockerfellers? How about the Morgans as in JP Morgan? Then there are the Warbergs and the Rothschilds and here is some information that might help you locate your real targets, http://www.endtimesdaily.com/CustomContentRetrieve.aspx?ID=3811319
