I think Obama actually received more funding from Wall Street than any previous US president. Also, the memo actually expresses concern about Republicans turning against Wall Street. I'm not sure why you think the notion that Republicans are in bed with Wall Street has heretofore been an unspoken inference; most GOPers, notably frontrunner Mitt Romney, are quite open about their cozy relationship with Wall Street, and most of their talk radio and blogosphere champions are shamelessly pro Wall Street as well. You're giving them way too much credit.

Kinda weird memo, in as much as it very nearly contradicts a piece in the NY Times just the other day claiming that the Democrats are leery of being seen as connected to OWS.

In any event, if the Democrats and GOP are intimidated from canoodling with Wall Street, I'd say the movement has been far more successful than most realize.

OOoooo! I contradicted the almighty new york times. Oh no!

What had been unspoken was the planning - the blatant partisanship. This just made it that much more blatant.

Wow! I am utterly shocked and not at all surprised all at the same time. This is proof positive that the 1% are shaking in their shoes.
