It is Wall Street that has corrupted and subverted our democracy. The corruption of Congress is just a symptom of the broader corruption of our democracy by the over-concentration of economic power on Wall Street.
Occupation actions directed at the Congress put pressure on the corrupted politicians to force them in the light of day to curtail their current violation of the public trust in favor of Wall Street.
Occupation actions on Wall Street confronts directly and face to face those who have corrupted our democracy and Congress for their predatory and anarchistic gain.
Both actions, confronting the corrupted and confronting the corrupt, are necessary for us to end the subversion of our democracy and our Congress by Wall Street.
Its not an either/or situation.
