"Wal-Mart builds one of the world's largest Communist Regimes. We the Tea Party urge you to stand up and Boycott Wal-Mart on Black Friday and every day!!! "

umm...where are those headlines? wow Tea Party you really stand by your guns much - huh?

Wal mart isn't just screwing employees - wake up America they are screwing you!! - Every time they put someone else out of business and there are less and less jobs in the country then more people are left with no where else to work. Every time their dollars bribe politicians to create laws that allow the trade model they set with China to go unfettered. And lastly when they drive everyone else out of business and there is no place else to buy goods they will jack up their prices - "where are you going to shop now - huh bitches?" Go ahead if you want keep building them up and limiting your own choices...buy a product at what the mark up from the actual cost it took for the slave or child worker in the Chinese factory to make for pennies? (probably like 400 percent) Especially if you ask: What is the cost of all the oil it takes to ship those products back here as it increases oil production and cost on us all? What is the cost of all those lights, and air conditioning, and roadways being built to accommodate them? What is the cost of all their tax loopholes and landscaping we probably pay for. What has their business model done for other American workers in all sorts of businesses that aren't even retail? Look around the damage is far and wide and then we all go running to them like lemmings because maybe they won't mark up that product by 400 percent (they might knock it down to 250 percent on one day of the year as people bash each other out of the way because their payrates caused by the Wal-Mart model aren't enough to afford the jacked up set monopoly price on a poorly made piece of crap good that is designed to fall apart in a year.) - how generous!!!! - then we all also get to cover with our tax dollars the services their employees are taught to use so they can survive on the shit for pay wages they get paid. Boycott Wal Mart not just on Black Friday - if you love America (and the planet as the Wal-Mart model goes global) - then boycott Wal-mart FOREVER!!!!

And finally to that I must add to the Waltons themselves - fuck you, you piece of shit horrifying wastes of human flesh - hope you all rot in hell - and pray karma comes to find you one day as you profit of the backs of American workers and civilians even while you spit in our faces and shit all over us and abuse human lives so you can sit by on your fat lazy asses collecting a check from what your daddy created and you deranged and say nothing as it destroys our democracy and way of life (instead build a bunker under your compound). Your monopoly will end - the American people will end you for your sake I hope it's before the pitchforks and torches come out. Actually that's a lie I hope I get to see that. I hope Dad is proud of you now and what you've become and turned his name into.

Employees - Unionize online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! David Tovar - how much does Wal-Marts spokesman make in a year? Liar! Employees don't appreciate you, they are just out of options - desperate for a job = ... Wal-Mart is right up there with cleaning toilets (but you probably make the associates do that too) - why are employees desperate for jobs (oh because your business model sent all good paying manufacturing jobs to China and Zaipan)

I haven't bought anything in Wal-Mart for years for the very reasons outlined here. But I do purchase on the Net which is probably even worse because we are automating our purchases from Wal-Mart like warehouses.

How mature.

That's right maturity is sitting by allowing a few fat cats the power to take down a nation, abuse it's citizens, and abuse human rights world-wide using slave labor to make their products. That is mature - probably even more mature as they prance around in their $6000.00 prada shoes toasting one another with caviar and chablis. Yes those Paris Hilton types caring nothing for the consequences of their actions driving humanity down the ugliest path of greed we've seen yet, sure are mature. You know what is mature, having the rationality to see it, and ability to call a spade a spade and to be angry about it, and maybe even do something about it, that is mature.

Okay: it has NEVER been any different in ANY period of history. Scream and threaten to kill you perceived enemy. The present is NOT unique. YOU are not unique. And you will do nothing to change anything by threats and throwing a tantrum.

Been to Walmart lately? Customers galore.

I've lost faith in humanity seriously is there another planet I can go to??? Though surely when you're the last retailer standing after you machine gunned down all the small business around, you're going to have customers. I've done quite fine without Wal-Mart and I'm a secretary, I've just decided if I don't go to the stores I won't see things I "need" - I saved my money and bought a house instead. Thus insuring I will never have to rent an apartment from Wal-Mart when they decide to get into the real estate "market" (or rent from one of their unconscionable shareholders). Years and years of cheap crap add up . It's not all that cheap. Obviously the Waltons are very rich people living large off of cheap designed to fail products marked up to astronomical rates that are laughable.) Not to mention does anyone give a shit that the products are being made by people via slave wages and child labor? (They have to wear diapers to work due to the lack of bathroom breaks.) I hear they treat their American workers the same way. Does anyone care that they are a Communist Regimes greatest Ali and that they share their values and ethics on hierarchy and treatment of workers?

"Wal-Mart, building up the world's largest Communist Regime - do your part shop here today." - huh? (add to this- Wow Tea Party you stand by your guns!!!)

You are quite the drama queen.

[-] 3 points by elf3 (4203) 11 years ago

and you are trained to dismantle logic with a slogan - you must be a marketer ? You managed to somehow overlook CHILD LABOR in all of that with a sniff of the nose and flip of the hand and a turn of phrase, that really shows just how heartless you are.

Do you want your mother working at Wal-Mart? How about your son? It's about treating others with dignity - Of which you know nothing.

Walmart is the largest retailer of locally grown organic food in the world. They arent near the monster you make them to be.

[-] 2 points by elf3 (4203) 11 years ago

Until they get the organic standard changed because it's cheaper to buy chemical grown and slap a label on it that says organic (the organic standards are currently being challenged.) Wal-Mart will go with the cheaper option (which is to pay a lobbying firm to get a politician to rewrite the law) much cheaper in the long run and of course they are all about cheap (even if it kills you - or uses slave labor)
